Call from number, no message left.

Missed call. Phoned back, got recorded message, "Thank you for calling. If you'd like to be placed on a do not call list for the number you just dialed, press 1." Repeated twice, then it hung up.

Call from "Seal Beach" on caller ID.  Left on message.  No clue what 562-286-5135 is about.

Answered, played along to get info. Pressed 1 to connect, then pressed 2 to "confirm I am the business owner". Girl answered and said "Hi - who do I have the pleasure of speaking to?" To which I replied "you called me, so you should know who I am". She said, "well, I know your company name and I was just asking to get your name but since you're being rude, have a nice day" and she hung up (not before I could get a nice F YOU in there). Funny that she has my company name when I don't even have a company LOL. Anyhow - yeah - it's a google/yahoo/bing listing service that claims to get more hits for your website. Total scam and they deserve as many "rude responses" as possible.

Next time they call and a person says hello say to them in as serious of a voice as you can...911 what's your emergency?

It really throws them off because they know they shouldn't have called you in the first place.

Another scam call, as, I do not have a business.  I like the poster who said 911; but, I went a step further with another caller and answered my city name Police Dept.  Got hung up on really, really fast.  Haven't seen that number on my box since, either.  Of course, I know they numbers all the time.

I've received a calls from 562-286-5135 the last day, then one today. Then four calls from 562-273-3688 after the one call from the other today. So I decided to look up the number online. I never pick up calls I don't recognize. I let them leave a message and then I return calls.

Left no message.  Called back and got a recording that said I could be placed on their do not call list.  I left my number and will have to see if they call again or not.  Most likely a scam of some sort.  Just don't know.  I just hate calls from people who I don't know or don't leave a message.  Trying to sell something, I'm sure.

I've saved this number to my caller ID under "scam" so if they call again I'll know to ignore it.

I have a google business registry - they called my cell phone, did the press 1, press 2, got a guy named Mike. Mike asked me if I was the business owner.  I said "I guess?" He goes "What do you mean, you guess?" He told me my business didn't have any bad reviews, and I asked him sheepishly "Did I do something wrong?"  Click!  I didn't get to have as much fun as I wanted to.  Showed up as Las Angeles.
