Caller ID said "UNKNOWN NAME," always a red flag. Live human asked for me by name, claiming to represent breast cancer organization.

just called my cell phone and left no message.  i can't explain how bummed i am to now be getting these calls on my cell phone.  it's bad enough that i get many daily calls on my house phone.  but now they are calling my cell phone too.  :(  i hate them.  i hate them so much.

Just received a call from them on my cell phone. They claimed to be a breast cancer organization. The conversation was odd and may have actually been a voice prompted robo call.

Received a call from them just now. Like someone else mentioned, they said they were from a breast cancer foundation going to have a drive and looking for monetary support. I asked where the drive was going to be held and they seemed surprised by my question, but said it would be in Florida. This seemed odd as the area code is a SoCal number. I've also received other fundraising calls and never have they gotten so quick to asking you for money. Well I did agree to a small amount and they transferred me to "quality control" to verify my donation they would be mailing me a donor packet for. She then asks me to verify my name spelling. This was okay I suppose, but then she asks for my address. I asked why they didn't already have it, she said they don't but they have to verify things like this because they constantly change. I then asked where she got my number and they said they couldn't disclose that. Bull [***]. I said I wasn't comfortable with it and ended it. As someone else mentioned, it was a strange conversation as if it was very rehearsed from a script, so I suppose it could be a automated thing.

Yes this is the 2nd time I got this call, although think the caller ID was different. Last time I got off and was totally freaked out because of how good the computer was in answering my calls but at that time I didn't ask anything strange and wasn't 100% sure it was a computer. This time I caught on quickly and said I just went to a Breast Cancer Fundraiser and donated money and it quickly responded "Oh Bless your Heart" that freaked me out. Then it quickly said how about a 15.00 donation, can we count on you if we send it out. I said is this a computer? It said No. I'm telling you it was good and I'm sure will fool a lot of people especially older adults! I'm not sure how to stop it other than not answering my phone but it really sounded good.

Please get on this Authorities as this will really hurt some trusting adults!!!
This time it said Long Beach, CA  562-473-0933   - Breast Cancer ?

Got the same call just about 30 minutes ago. It was not a computer but a real person. Asked for someone named "Chris", told then no one here with that name. The call was out of Long Beach, CA. We will see if they call back.
