The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

This number called my biz cell. When I answer, I make it clear the phone is work related. Once they got the point the caller hung-up with no explanation at all. If it is not a scam its a unsolicited sales call.

My husband and I both got a call from this number on our cell phones.  I don't know the name of the company but it was about a credit card reduced rate.

Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

It was allegedly Bank of America calling to reduce my interest rate on my credit card since I've missed no payments. Told them I didn't have the card and I would call them back. Called the number and it didn't ring

Rec'd call mid-afternoon yesterday from Celina indicating she was from card services with Barclay offering opportunity for lifetime reduction of interest rate.  She was able to give me several card numbers indicating balances with last payment information along with card type (Visa, Master Card, American Express, etc).  She indicated that the only requirement was that a specific balance was necessary on Barclay card to qualify ($3500).  After Celina gave me the requirements, she transfered me to Bill Baker. When Bill got on the phone he indicated that the call may be recorded.  Bill indicated a one-time fee of $864.00 would insure that the reduction in interest rate would be required.  Bill indicated that there would be no out-of-pocket money.  Bill indicated this would save a total of $1,600 for the balance.  When I asked what the interest rate would be reduced from and what the rate would be he was not able to respond.  The more questions that I asked the more Bill became confused.  When I refused the offer, his comment was are you sure because you'll never be able to qualify for this offer again.  During both conversations I requested their extension numbers and employee identification numbers which both of them gave me.  Interesting that while Celina's extension and employee id's were different (extension 226, employee id 446) Bill's were the same (extension 840, employee id 840).  I've reported information to all credit card companies that were indicated from their phone call and reported information as stolen.  This shows how identities are easily stolen.

Woman called explaining I had a limited time opportunity to get a low interest rate credit card somehow associated with my current credit cards, just press "1" to be connected to an operator or press "2" to be taken off the list.  Another obvious illegal telemarketer call. . .
