No message left - Caller ID: LOCAL

I've submitted a complaint against 562-641-7934 on Federal Do Not Call web site.  It's easy and
will increase the fine charged when FTC finally gets around to automating tracking down these past calls.

Called twice in last two hours won't leave message

Telemarketer for Solar System.  Recorded message asks if you want to stop rising electric rates and if yes, you are asked to press or dial "1".  I hung up at that point

Telescumbag pitching solar panels for lower energy rates.  Caller ID came through as Local but I'm in CT and the A/C 562 is CA -- yeah, that's about as local as Uranus.  Blocked now.

Didn't leave a message, but called twice.  I never answer calls from area codes I do not recognize.

Listed as local.............left no message.

Message purported to be from PG&E saying to listen to Smart Meter opt out choices, etc press key #s.
Maybe a phishing scam, or not.

Yep, same old scammer called with various numbers. No doubt to block them!

"There will be a 12% rise in your electric bill this year. To stop this 12% rise in your electric bill, press 1 now." Caller ID was the same as the number: 5626417934.

Another number used by this group of likely scam artists... here is more information froma post on this website to 669 237-3665... "This is part of a "SWITCH YOUR ELECTRICAL SERVICE PROVIDER" or "BUY SOLAR PANELS OVER THE PHONE" (!) ***SCAM***. They also use other numbers such as 978-400-2559 "FITCHBURG, MA"; 978-965-8961 "LAWRENCE, MA"; 978-769-1293 "GEORGETOWN, MA"; 458-201-1435 "EUGENE, OR"; 916-312-2734 "SLOUGHHOUSE, CA"; 440-721-4682 PAINESVILLE, OH"; 573-200-7004 "DELETED: (!); 413-382-7521 "SPRINGFIELD, MA". There may be - and probably are - other numbers associated with this SCAM. They are looking for your ELECTRIC BILL ACCOUNT NUMBER which can be used for IDENTITY THEFT just like your SS#; AND they ask for your CREDIT CARD NUMBER for the solar panels. BEWARE. Don't Answer and BLOCK if you can! We've gotten 28 calls in 19 days from this SCAM!

Receiving lot of unknown callers. Most of them is recorders.

caller ID listed # from Whittier, CA no message left... Thank-you all for the information you posted. We recently changed electric provider and thought we missed  an important call re:  change...so glad I checked 1st...Whew,,when will these calls stop?

Same as everyone else.  The solar callers call me everyday from different numbers.  I tell them I'm renting even though I'm not and they apologize and said they will take me off their list.  Then the next day they will call from a different number.

Scam as usual about power rates going up up up!!!

Call came from California, when I live in Oregon telling me to press 1 to STOP the 12% Power increase that will happen next month..............   HAHAHA   Yeah right!   My power comes from OREGON!!!!!

Just got call from 562-641-7934 saying "this is our final attempt to contact us that PGE is putting in smart meter to monitor your electrical use which may amount to a 14% increase in your bill.  Press 1 to opt out and avoid this increase."  I hung up.  Sounded like a scam.  Called PGE and no work orders are pending at my address and no notes in their system that they tried to call me.
