- LanceAlso got a call from this number on 4/16/2013. No message. My called ID just says "Missed call from Long Beach".
- BettyThis person calls several times a week asking for certain individual. Today he told me he was calling for his "assistant" that needed to speak with this individual. When I asked for his assistants direct # I was told he wasn't available.. hmmmmm, kind of strange to me.
He claims to be calling from a company called ALBA, but was unable to disclose any information about the company.- Caller: ALBA
- jenncalled my office asking about ex-employee, not willing to tell me why or let me get that person a message, said he is new (started 2 days ago) and that he doesn't have a number where someone could call him back. Strange
- GeorgeSame thing as Jenn. The guy was calling for a former employee, wouldn't tell me anything else. Said he just started 2 days ago (Obviously that was a lie if he spoke with Jenn on May 1st) I tried helping to find a new person for him to talk to and then he got rude so I told him goodbye and hung up.
- Caller: Credit Collector? Maybe?
- N8Some guy saying his name was Max Veronous. I asked who he was again. Then he hung up. Second time from this number. I didn't answer the first.
- OhioGuyCalled our 888 number and didn't leave a message.
- PamGot a call from this # and it was like I had been put on hold...just music playing. The strange thing, you have to go through the operator and ASK for my extension.
- Lori F.I got a called from this number, asking for a person that offices in a different state. He said (very hard to understand)...This is Tim Smith, calling from Jessica Lane's office. I asked office from what company and what this was about. He said this is Tim Smith calling from Jessica's office at the National Regulatory Services. I asked what he is calling about and I explained that Mr. J (not giving out his real name) offices in another state. He asked for that number. I explained I am not allowed to give out that information unless I get specifics on why the caller is calling. He refused, just repeated the name and company name. I said thank you and cut the call off.
- Caller: National Regulatory Services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- EJSince I didn't recognize the number, I sent it to my company voicemail. They didn't leave a message.
- KCPI got a call today from this number whereby the person said, I would like to leave a voicemail for XX (my husband's name), can you connect me? She said her name was Jennifer, Assistant in the office. I said which office and she said, "Office of Coleman and Presley" ---very strange call indeed.
- Caller: Coleman and Presley
- KimI got a call from this number asking for me by name. Said she was from Renee Garcia's Office; I do not know any one by this name. She kept asking me if I was Kim. She refused to tell me what this call was in reference to as this was my place of business. She would not tell me why she was calling. After she hung up I re-dialed the number and got "this is not a vaild number" auto response . This was very strange as she new my name.
- SwitchboardA man with an accent, who alleged that his name was Ross, claimed to be phoning on behalf of his supervisor, who wanted to speak with one of our managers. I refused to transfer the call without knowing its purpose. He hesitated, then said, "Ma'am" and repeated his request. I did likewise. He sounded confused and read from the script again, as I did. Finally he offered to obtain that information and call back, which I know he won't. We receive calls like this all the time, and these "assistants" never get back to us.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Tess TicklesBarely spoke English.. Told him to f off and I would burn him and his family if he ever calls back..
- Not Amuseda man's voice:

"What company are you calling from?"
"Informatica"
"What does Informatica do?"
"it's just a company"
"Why are you calling here?"
"Is this Peter Brown from IBM?"
"No"
"Click"

- ESJ| 1 replyGot the same call you have all experienced. Calling for one of our employees. It has happened 7 times. I tell them I am his assistant and they do not know what to do. Will leave no number or message. They always say they are a temp and it is their first day. They are not sure what to do. CRAZY. What is this for? I think next time I will pretend to be who they are looking for and see what happens.:)
