Call, no message

Called my cell phone 2:16 PM on 12/10/2013. No message left.  Phone kept ringing when I called back.

Called at 9:33 am EST.  It was a credit card scam. The recording said they "could lower my interest rates" and I could press 1 to speak to a representative or 2 to discontinue calls (I don't know what that means exactly).  I pressed 2 and it hung up.

Called my cell phone at 9:56am EST. "Credit Services" credit card scam. I hung up.

Called at 9:05am CST. The recording said they "could lower my interest rates" and I could press 1 to speak to a representative or 2 to discontinue receiving notification calls and this was the final warning.  I pressed 2 and hung up.

Called my home phone. Didn't leave a message.

Card Services.

Received call from this number. It was a recording saying they wanted to lower my credit card rate.  I don't have a credit card! I pressed 1 as instructed to speak to someone just to try to find out what their scam was.  It took a long time for some guy to even come on the line, but I could hear background noise like other telemarketers talking.  Finally,he answered & asked if I was responding to the offer and when I said yes, I was but I didn't have a credit card his reply was "hmm" then the line went dead. He hung up on me!  SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!   BEWARE!  When I tried to call back, I got busy signal every time.

Called my cell phone at 10:30 a.m est. Didnteave a message and no one answered when called back.

Just let it ring... left no message (I'm in 903 area code)

Called, didn't get to the phone in time.  Checked here first.  Going to block that number.

Just now called cell phone  Didn't leave a message  Wont answer when called back.   The ID said it was from Norwalk, CA

What is wrong with the National Do Not Call Registry ? Why do these companies follow the rules? Are the fines not big enough? Are they not enforcing the complaint penalties? These jerks called my house for years and now they call my cell phone. I have no privacy rights.

This number called my cell phone this morning, but I don't answer unidentified calls -- they can leave a message.  Thanks to all who go through the aggravation of answering and reporting the details here!

I do not answer if I dont recognize the number. If this one works like the others going around, its computer generated calls. If you answer and push the buttons as prompted, it will confirm your number and charge money to your phone bill. this is usually to your cell phone. Another one will let it ring once then hang up. Then being curious, you call back and it will confirm your number and again, it charges money to your bill.
