I just received a phone call from this number yesterday from Sarah Morgan informing me that I owed $89 for light bulbs which I never received nor remember ordering.  She informed me that my money was due right now or the bill would be turned over to a collection agency.  These light bulbs were supposed to have been ordered in 2009.  The company was called DHWA or Disadvantaged Workers of America.

the same people left us the same message the day before yesterday.  How do people live with themselves?  So called collection threats.  geez

I also received this call. This is a nasty scam. (see links on the Better Business Bureau) Please report it to the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov). You can click on their link to file a claim or call them at 1-877-382-4357. You should also report this to your state attorney general. Let's shut these people down.

I just recieved the same call tonight....no company name, just the fact that I supposedly had a past bill due and it needed to be paid by Friday...tried calling the number before finding this site. Their mailbox was full...imagine that !  I am reporting them!!!!!

Received the same calls/threats from "Sarah Morgan"  as the others. Told the woman that I am a lawyer and hope they try to press their issues through legal channels. The 5 PM deadline passed weeks ago so she disappeared.

"Lisa Gearin" from DHWA just called me for the second time with the same nonsense. Said I bought light bulbs from them in December of 2009 for $60 and never paid the bill. Would not send an invoice or put me through to anyone else. Said a receipt would be sent on receipt of payment. Ha!  Wen I insisted on a bill, she said she'd see me in court! - I reported them to the BBB and the FTC.

I just got a call moments ago from "Sarah Morgan".  I am not an attorney but work with several, including our state's ex-attorney general. Same scam. Claimed I ordered from them in Dec 2009, threatened to see me in court.  Would not send invoice, or proof of debt and started screaming at me (using really bad grammar, I might add).  I already reported her to the BBB, will report her to the FTC and our state's AG office tomorrow. This nasty woman belongs in jail. Plan to call the California AG tomorrow as well.
If you ever ordered products from LifeLine Industries (who allegedly were helping out blind folks) then DHWA has either stolen or purchased LifeLine's customer list and is going to town with it.

Same calls/threats  from "sarah Morgan". Have salso receioved identical ones from a "Joan Whitmore" at a different area code.

Have received 4 calls in 5 days from "Sara Morgan" claiming to be manager of inside collections for a "DHWA" which does not officially exist. She states I have a past due or outstanding bill that goes to outside collections @ 5p.m. pacific std time. Dont know what for she refuses to call back when I am available. I have called and left messages on their machine and with Nicole her supposed secretary as to times I am available and other numbers they can reach me at. No positive contact has been made so I called and thanked her for giving a name and number that is traceable and turned the matter over to proper authorities. She had the nerve to call the next night to inform me I failed to call her so she is sending me a letter for collections proceedings. I called and left another not so friendly message letting her know if I receive this fraudulent letter in the mail a charge of harassment through the USPS will be filed. I think its gonna get real quiet now!

i received similar phone calls. the 49.99 dollar light bulbs i ordered in 2009 are now costing me $324.00 because of late fees. did receive an "invoice"?. not sure if it is legit. do not use these kinds of light bulbs and would not order them.it came from a p.o.box number in Los ANGELES,CA 90059.

Received a call from this number 7/3/2012. Caller stated that I had a past due balance for some trash bags I had ordered in Dec of 2010 of 74.95.  With the late fees the balance would be $295.00.   I protested and they threatened to take me to court where they would use the tape recorded order and their proof of delivery.  I would be responsible for all court costs when I lost plus the entire balance and I would be reported to the credit bureau.  After some discussion, the caller offered to reduce the late fees to $112.00 leaving me with an outstanding balance of $195.15.
