They say there with Microsoft and noticed that there is a problem with computer and want to fix it and they need remote access to it ....major scammer

Just got called from 5672264536.  And said were from global technology and want access to my computer to fix it.  Called me 5 times . Very insistant

Eastern Indian accent gentleman called saying he is with Windows Technical Support and were giving me a courtesy call to inform me my computer has been infected with malware. I then asked what I should do and he replied; just turn on your computer so to gain access toit and he would remove the virus. I then laughed and hung up. Windows Support ended in April of this year.

Called and said they were looking for Mr. Williams to help with with a Windows 7 problem.  Idiots.  Sounded like a terrorist.

To Indian-accented gentlemen with names of Sam Williams and Frank Wilson called to say my computer was infected and was a courtesy call. when it got down to it they wanted to take charge remotely of my computer to fix the problem. When I told them I was checking on them online as we talked he hung up. He claimed he was from Global Tech in Marblehead, OH but call originated from Bluffton, OH. Don't know how close those two cities are.

Got a phone call saying to get my attorney i was in big trouble. I got calls every half hour from this number.

An Indian guy said he was calling from the "computer maintenance department" at Microsoft, and that's when I hung up. Unfortunately I didn't have time to mess with him and ask how he lives with his conscience or why he doesn't get a real job.

MAJOR SCAMMER.  just got a call from this same indian guy claiming he was looking into a microsoft virus on my computer.  I informed him that I had just run a anti virus scan and that I had no problem.  told him that I thought he was a scammer and that he should give  me his return phone call number and then he told me it was blocked.  Not really sure how he got this particular phone number for me ( my moms number that I never use).......BEWARE.....TOTAL SCAM~

Indian-accented man asked for unknown person. I advised he had the wrong number. He repeated my number and said he was with Windows Tech Support and that my computer had a virus. I hung up. I had a similar call 2 months earlier, then did experience a web threat that my security could not remotely remove.

A man with an accent said"Hello" and did not respond when I asked what he wanted. He hung up so I came here for info. Thanks to  you all for posting, now I know better what I've been dealing with before I report it. I am so tired of these calls.
