Said it was the IRS about a lein. I hung up.

Always calls...maybe on a diler.....no one responds when phone answered.

Scam

Not sure what he wanted, it took a sec, and then I heard what I at first thought was a recording "Hi, this is Steve, how are you today?"
I told 'Steve' what he could go do to himself and he immediately hung up, I guess it wasn't a recording

Calls every other day posing as advocator to resolve IRS issue. Total scam. Just blocked the number.

Reported to do not call list complaint deptment I suggest others do the same to put a stop to this.

called about 20 minutes ago; asked how I am.  I asked WHO he is.  Said Steve - went into whole treatise on IRS having my name on some list.  I told him I have already heard of that one - get lost.  Said he will put my name on a Do Not Call list for this particular purpose.  I am thinking of calling the police, but how receptive would they be?

this number called me today....  He was going into some story of the IRS is about to garnish my paycheck, take my car and put a lien on my house (I don't own one currently :))....  I told him that I do not owe the government anything and he was like.... oh... so you do not owe income tax....  I said no....  and then he told me he was going to put me on the do not call list.... LOL.....

this is a scam- NO IRS PROBLEMS HERE
