I answered now what?

Unwanted automated call from a location in Norwalk, Ohio.  The automated voice only said, "Goodbye", which tells me this is a phishing company.

got a call, wasent able to answer did know who it was looked up the area code and sure enough its a scam. the eliged "567-244-4447" i am a teen so either way i could care less...

i didnt answer  cuz they called my cell but it went to my machine and it was like someone left the phone off the hook and was talking to someone in the background i couldnt hear the language .... just weird!!!

called my cell, said "good bye" after 10 seconds and hangs up.  Hope I didn't just start something by verifying the number is valid by picking up and will soon receive a multitude of calls ...

called my cell, saying he worked for telus and that I was getting a free smart phone delivered to my house in 10 minutes?

Called my cell, said he would like to offer me a new smart phone, with X # minutes and X# texts and etc. for "five, zero, fify dollars per month", he said in a very strong indian accent.  Then he asked if I was a Telus client and I said yes, then he asked for my name and address for confirmation to which I said no thanks and hung up.

I picked up, heard background noise, they hang up.

Recieved two calls but did not answer. no message left. Weird

This message was a threat from an officer Tom from the Federal Crime Investication department...saying that I was in serious trouble  and needed to call right away......

i got a phone call from a anthony bordon he said he was from an attorneys office and that i was in serious trouble he said that he was going to send a sheriff to my work place for a payday loan he wanted my bank info so they could take money out of my account itold him no way and i busted out laughing at him..But he keeps calling my work place he's very strange

". . . Did u call back. . . " - and this is something you should NEVER do. Calling back numbers you do not know can result in surprises. (1) The scammer now knows your number is good, resulting in more calls. (2) The number may be in the Caribbean, resulting in International charges on your phone bill. (3) Why would you want to call back a strange number that leaves no message? Curiosity cleaned out the cat's bank account.

If I did then am I in trouble ?? Because the call said they are officer and arrest warrant is going to  be charge if I don't call them back.

got a call saying i'm being sued and i need to call back asap! and they have a lawsuit against me

received similar calls from 567-244-4415 and 567-244-4188... the same as others have said, pretending to be someone in authority... call asap... you're going to be arrested... i'm at work and my wife is home today and it's kind of scaring her... just told her to ignore and not call back

Guy calls obviously from India - I can hear Hindi in the background. Says he's from the US Dept of Justice calling for the IRS and am I aware of a lawsuit against me. Gives me a number to call and says I must call them. I said something like "This sure sounds like a scam" and he said something like "you wait and see you'll get a subpoena" - so I'll wait and I'm 100% sure I won't get a subpoena.

The scum bags called me pretending to be Chase Bank. Left  a voicemail saying I had been approved for a personal loan.

Makes you want to tie them up and pour honey on them then lay them on a fire ant mound.
