Just got a call from 567-245-9528.  Caller ID said EXPRESS DEPT.  I recognized that as back on 2 September I got a call from 440-617-5699 which also had EXPRESS DEPT as the caller ID.

It's a recorded female voice saying that says you may be eligible to receive a new topical pain reliever. Press 1 to speak to a live rep.  

Total insurance scam.  Ignore.   They call you, try to get the name of your doctor and your insurance company and bill the insurance company by telling them that the doctor approved it.  The ones that call me have a Filipino accent.  Tagalog.

SCAM ALERT!!! Received a call from 567-245-9528 showing the phone number as ID too. Scam aimed at those with pain that need relief - the disabled and elderly are biggest target. The idea is to get your personal/insurance info, and possible credit card if not insured; DO NOT give out any of your info, as it is an illegal SCAM.

IGNORE this call and seek any pain relief via your doctor, or OTC meds that your pharmacist can recommend.

Received a call today on my personal cell phone while at work.  I answered only because I received calls from out of state employees sometimes. It was an automated message about "insurance approved" medication. I pressed 2 to opt out, which I hope takes me off their list.

Another one for the reject list.

I, too, received the same kind of automated call on my personal cell phone saying that i was eligible for free topical pain relief. I pressed the required number to talk to an agent.  When I asked in a loud and clear voice why I was getting this call, the woman on the line said that I had requested pain relief.  She then asked when was the last time I had seen my doctor for my pain.  I told her it was none of her business when I saw my doctor.  When I told her I was on the Do Not Call list, and asked where she got my number, she said that this was a request and had nothing to do with the Do Not Call List.  She said I was yelling at her and there was no need to do that and someone had used this number to request pain relief. Then she hung up before I could tell her to take me off their list.  Go figure.  I blocked the number.
