The caller had a foreign accent and stated he was with the IRS and was calling about a lawsuite against us. And if we don't call, all he can say is "wish you Good Luck as the situation unfolds on you". Has called multiple times a day and daily with identical person saying exact same message (exact words and inflections). Could not find online the IRS having an office in Toledo OH, where the phone number indicates its from. Looks like a scam to me.

on Monday he called my home numerous times. I called him back and told him to take my number off his list. This was a scam! So today I get the same message and called back and told him to stop with the phone calls. He told me he was going to kick my [***] and then called me back to tell me he was sending his people to my house to rape me. This guy is a wacko, something needs to be done!

I'm in Minnesota, rec'd a recorded call from male w/ foreign accent stating he was from the IRS and a lawsuit has been filed against us and that we should return his call immediately. Same "good luck" message if I don't return his call.  
I filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney Generals office on line.  It is very quick and easy to do so please do the same thing so they can investigate and stop this fradulent activity before he gets any money from vulnerable folks.

This guy called me 5 times on Tuesday, I called back he said he was with the I.R.S.  criminal investigation unit, that there was a lawsuit against my husband and he underpaid taxes and he owed money, if he didn't pay an amount my husband and myself would have a warrant for our arrest at 6pm and the F.B.I. and sheriffs department would be at our house to arrest us. It was very upsetting, he said we could either pay or go to trial,when my husband said go to trial he got very angry and said we were gonna go to jail!  I was upset, my children were upset. My husband called the police and they said it was a scam, they can't trace the number, if you call it after 5pm it's off. This Indian [***] needs to be caught, think of the elderly people this [***] may give a heart attack too. I just can't believe in this day and age they can't trace it. But it's definitely a scam!!!! Beware!

Got the same scam call as everyone else.  Someone with a thick foreign accent claiming to be calling from the IRS about a lawsuit and blah blah blah.  Things like this need to be prosecuted aggressively but the federal government and the DNC list are both worthless.

This recording is a hoax.  Trying to get you to call about "you're in trouble with IRS".  It's a complete scam.  They should be stopped.  I'm not dumb enough to believe them - but am afraid for people who they might be calling who are old, English not being their first language etc. ~ and may give these creeps sensitive information.  

I got the SAME phone call today.  I hope someone can find this creep!  Said its regarding a lawsuit...

I am getting the same calls over and over!  I keep telling the I know it is a scam and the real IRS would like to talk to them.

I got the same voice mail as everyone else.  I've been getting it for a couple of days now.  How long will this go on, before he finally STOPS, and realizes that you are a worthless cause and moves on to someone else?

As others have said, I wish to GOD they would catch this creep and throw him in prison for the rest of his miserable life.  Scumbag!!!

I received the same call; it is bogus.  When has the IRS ever called for any reason?

There are times that the IRS will call someone when it is in reference to an ongoing and previously opened issue.   But never to initiate any action,  particularly to collect over the phone.  Any call from the IRS that was not previously initiated in writing via USPS first,  is a scam.   Anything from these [***] threatening jail is a scam.

Your callers are calling from India.  It is a scam boiler room and prosecuting them is next to impossible due Government to Government protocol and cooperation.   India does not consider the US their best friend and consider American Citizens as free game and a source of income.  The DNC has nothing to do with it.   The DNC was not created as a law enforcement tool and it's sole purpose is to maintain a list and limit the number of Telemarketing (sales calls)  from Legitimate and Registered with the FTC,  American businesses,   who are required to purchase and adhere to the list.   Which they do.
Our foreign IRS callers are Scammers,  frauds,   extortionists,  and outright criminals.  It is a Government issue but the Indian government is the big hold up on capture and prosecution.

I got the same message twice yesterday. Beware, my caller id shows 011-567-251-0045, meaning it's foreign. If you call back, you'll be paying international rates.

We've been having a blast calling him back and making up stupid songs about hurting him. I can't remember having so much fun.

Same thing just happened to me. Obviously a scam I told him to prove he was from the irs and he told me to smack my [***] and I will then know.. wtf

Man ive been fken with this chump all day he keeps hanging up on me!  Lol!!  I told him i was going to help him find allah!!  Lol!!   I just called him and said in a real calm voice, "Were you at?" He said, Stop calling me im scard!!  Lol!!

My aunt got this call from this number about an "IRS Lawsuit". The area code is for Ohio. My aunt lives in Portland, OR. If the IRS was suing my aunt they would have sent tons of correspondence. Lawsuits cost a lot of money for anyone, even the IRS. If they're going after you in court, that means you own them hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in tax. My aunt salary is less than 150k a year. She's current on all her tax filings. This is totally a phishing scam. They're trying to get you to call them back and give out personal information (SSN, DOB, Name, Address, etc.). What they are ultimately after is your checking account and routing number. This dude left several messages last week, come this week monday he reconvened. so i called back, and told him to stop calling me. he then asked me "do you know who this is"  i told him "you are NOT IRS" so he hang up.  speaking of harassing, i called him again about 5 times, he would pick up and hang up. then i called him with a different number and I cursed him out, and blocked his number.  oh boy i feel relieved!
