this is a scam and these people need stopped

They just called and got really rude with me after I asked a few questions regarding the purpose of the call. After I told him I searched the number he was calling from and it didn't come back to the IRS  he hung up

They say u r being used from the IRS....the IRS will NEVER contact u by phone!!! They r scammers and they are beyond nasty human beings. I called them back like they asked and said get off ur lazy [***] and get a real job u phone scammer and proceeded to to get screamed at.

I just recieves a call from these people. Telling me I was scamming the it's and that the fbi was looking for me. With further calls I made. This is a scam. Don't give your information out.

I got a call from this number 567-253-0143 several times.  I finally got a hold of this stupid guy today. He refused to let me speak to his supervisor. I told him that I looked up his number and it was a mobile phone and he didn't work for the IRS.  He got mad and hung up. who do i contact to report such scammers.

I've just received a call from this number-567-253-0143 on Friday, 12/5/14 @5:30am.  He claims that he's calling from the IRS.  He has a heavy accent, I can not understand  him.  I do think this is a scam!  IRS would NOT call you by phone.  I hope these scammers should be caught by the law enforcement soon.  They are bunch of BIG LAZY ASS!!!

Clearly a scam. The best recourse I could think of was to keep calling them and have my friends call them as often as we can. Sometimes I just pretend to be a scared person calling the IRS, sometimes I pretend to be a lawyer representing someone. In either case they end up very annoyed and angry.

I encourage EVERYONE to call this number and do the same. The people that make these annoying, unsolicited and predatory phone calls are now screening their calls and dreading hearing from us. It's a pretty fun turn of the tables.

I hope these people are caught and brought to justice. Called and said they were the IRS...[***]. said I was to be arrested tomorrow by the IRS....[***]. When I asked to have documentation delivered to my door he hung up on me.

Just received a call from a gentleman named Ronnie, he stated he was from the IRS and that I owned $1,600, if I don't pay a.s.a.p. the police were coming to arrest because I had a outstanding warrant for my arrest!!  I asked him for send me documentation re: this matter, he got very upset and hung up!!!!

It's a big scam.. I told him I called the cops and he got very defensive and said he was going to tell the cop to f***k me... He needs to be stopped and stop bothering hard working people he just ruined my day

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

These calls are coming from India and Pakistan. Not much we can do to stop them unless their governments co-operate with ours.

Received a call today from these scammers posing to be from the IRS.  My call was just a recording stating that I needed to return their call immediately.  I know that our government always claims that they can't do anything to catch these people because they are in other countries but I'm sure that if I was involved in illegal actively our government would find me no matter where I went.  If the problem is that these countries won't allow are government to pursue these criminals in their country then our government needs to cut off any aid we provide to these countries.

Recieved a call from (567)253-0143 stating I need to call because I was being sued by the IRS. When I looked up the number, it was out of Ohio, and not registered to the IRS! The guy was rude & very demanding.

I get message to call to this #5672530143, I called and man told me " He from IRS and I had have debit $1, 900.00 from tax return for 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012  to IRS and will be sued for this matter. I told him I never receive any letter from IRS about this debit and if I have debit I will pay. He told me you are ready to make payment ,(during short time he told me it is police calling and he will return to me) I told him not right now. He told me we can accept partial payment, I told him right now I don't have money. He told me During  30 minute I will be arrested and hang up phone.
