I got a call from this number as well ... no message. And I don't know anyone from Ohio.

Credit card scam.

This is a credit card scam.  Don't even bother to answer it.  It comes out of Lima, OH.

Just got the call, I tried to answer, they hung up. Obviously raised in a barn with no manners.

Caller ID was "Ohio".

As stated above, credit card scam.  They want to offer you low interest rates on your major credit cards because of your excellent credit, and they claim to work with Visa and Mastercard.  Without providing them information, I asked them what information I would have to provide to get these "lower interest rates."  The woman I talked to said all it takes is providing my account number.  I called it like I saw it, told the woman I would do my best to report her "organization's" scam, and hung up.

I saw this coming.  Been getting a lot of these types of calls recently, to lower your interest rates.  They get your card info, and then charge you hundreds or thousands of dollars to do this, with no results.  Stay away from this.  Like I said, I saw this comming.  Waited til I got the operator on it, and screamed into the microphone.  I am sure she ripped her headset off.  I called back, and it was a number you cannot call back.  So, stay away from numbers you don't recognize, and don't give your credit card information out either.

Just got the same call.  Didn't answer but tried to call back.  Got a Verizon message stating the call could not be completed.

I also got a call from this number - as everyone has said below no message when the call is not answered, and it is not a number you can call back. Credit Card SCAM all the way. Thanks for the info everybody!

I just received a call from 567-259-9780 that came up as an Ohio number.  My husband receives business calls on our phone line so I answered the call.  Pressed 9 to see which card company was calling.  I got a person who identified herself as Dana.  I told her we worked directly with our card companies and she told me they could help get lower rates than my card company would offer.  I told her we were not interested and she called me "Hard Headed" and hung up on me.  When I tried to call that number back I got the same message JH did.  We are on the Missouri No Call List.

I also got a call with no message left today....SCAM

I looked into this number and found others who got calls, can't call back and they leave no message.
Watch out for scams. I don't know anyone in this section of Ohio.

567-259-9780 - this # on caller ID said "cellphone OH (Ohio)".  I answered, got recording that I qualified for lower credit rates on credit card.  Hit "9" to talk to real person.  He said I qualified based upon making on-time payments for past 6 months.  Then proceeded to ask "how much balance do you have on your current credit card? Would you say it's $3000..."  I cut him off, saying if you have my credit card records, you know the balance.
"We work with lots of major credit card companies, and I only am allowed to have your basic information. So how much..."  "I have worked in the banking industry and that question is not relevant to offering me lower interest rates".  CLICK - he hung up on me!

Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number-then checked it out here.  We are also on the Missouri No Call list.

Same Number called my house and hung up once the answering machine came on. SCAM
