- BridgetI got a call from this company and they left a voicemail saying I was being sued by the IRS. It sounded like a prerecorded that took place in a bathroom in India (not to be racist, he just had an Indian accent). Yeah. Seems legit.
- cheril| 1 replyYes, he said the IRS was suing me and this was my last chance to answer the charges. He said that they had been trying to contact me. Since I was refusing to cooperate, the FBI would be at my house at 4pm to arrest me. He did not ask for money or personal information. He did not have a case number. But I know that the IRS does not call people. I checked with my tax accountant, who had been getting calls all morning about this. I reported it to the IRS phishing site.

- LaurenKeep getting calls from this number. They leave the same recorded message every time. Something about being time sensitive and if I don't call back then all they can say is good luck? lol....really annoying tho.
- IsiahAnswered the call because I already knew it was going to be a scam from the elements of it alone, starting off with the voicemail it says it's an urgent matter and needs to be addressed immediately as it's time sensitive, yet they don't state their name, their company, who they're looking for, etc.
It's a scare tactic, they want people to call them up and be surprised they're talking to the "irs" so they can try to take advantage of them in their time of panic.
Second of all, he mentions that you're going to jail that same day because the "IRS" has tried numerous times to contact you before that point in time because you owe an "outstanding amount of money", trust me if the IRS wanted to reach you either by postal or calling regarding money especially about them being owed it, they would reach you.
I gave them a fake name too, so that didn't exactly help their case when they couldn't even put the correct name with the correct number.
This is a fraudulent practice looking to take advantage of people, just hang up on these clowns they have nothing better to do with their time but try to take other people's hard earned money.- Caller: Fake IRS Auditor

- JessicaThis number called me twice this morning, the first missed call left no message, the second left a patial message saying it was urgent I call them back... extremely time sensitive and If i dont call back all they can say is good luck in the matters that unfold upon me. I knew it was a scam but returned the call from another line... when they answered there is no name or company given, just "hello".... i stated i'd recieved two missed calls from this number, and they wanted my Name and Phone number... well clearly they already had that information - so I simply asked Who is this and what are the calls in reference to?! Again, was asked for my name and phone number and when i refused again the man (Clearly Indian, but not same as voice in message) said "ok, goodbye". SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!

- A.V.H.| 1 replyDo not waste my time with a fraudulent call that is so bad anyone can figure out it's fake. Seriously?! Go get a real job and work for a living the real way, not through scaring innocent, vulnerable people!

- This day just gets worse replies to A.V.H.Who on Earth are you talking to? No one here called you. Next?
- VeryAnnoyedThis guy called me multiple times today, and said the same as everyone else is claiming. I asked who the "lawsuit" pertained to and I gave him a false first name. He said "Oh it is you sir" and gave me the wrong adress and followed with spelling my last name wrong.
What I think, We should all just spam the hell out of them so they realize how useless they are. How we work for our money, and these guys all sit on their ass's and try to scam Working american people. I'm gonna call and keep annoying them. Hello, bottle of whiskey and hello landline. I'll let ya'll know how this goes.- Caller: "irs" (Some indian dude"
- very disturbingLeft 3 messages on my machine, all identical as prerecorded stating I was being sued by the IRS and must call this number. Of course I am not calling the number but it disturbs me there are creepy people out there praying on whomever. It was so strange and barely understandable with the Indian accent. Never talk to strangers.

- TannerJust got a call called back gave them a fake name they said I owed 2100 $ and I was going to jail I'm not sure if they are trying to waste time or what I said I have 2100$ and was wondering if I could pay it at the irs building he said no I would have to get an attorney and then I said I'm going to take the 2100$ and get a plane ticket and get out of the states
- ScareCrowSame Indian guy called me and told me that i was being sued and that I would be arrested at 4pm because I didnt pay taxes and I lied and so forth. I wasnt sure if it was a scam untill he said that it was from 2008. I started to laugh at him and told him i was in Afghanistan with the Marine Corps for most of 2008 and that the Marines filed my taxes that year. Then, in the best quicky mart accient I could muster I told him "best of luck to you my friend". He got all flustered, threatened me again, and hung up. It was great.

- Just Me Laughing| 1 replyA guy with a heavy Indian accent called couldn't even understand what he was saying, but did pick up a few words now and again, one was IRS . I've received a call like this before so I knew it was a scam. He has called twice this morning already. HOW DUMB DO THEY THINK WE ARE????????????????????????????????????????
- Call type: Debt collector
- Ryan replies to cherilThey want you to call them back and that's how they get their money. You get charged an outrageous amount of money. I got a voicemail saying from some Indian guy I was being sued by the IRS even though I don't owe them any money. He didn't go as far too say the FBI would be at my house, but at the end he laughingly told me good luck. I knew it was a scam right off the bat. What they do is hope you'll call them back to sort out the situation and then you get charged a crazy amount of money for making the call. They called me twice in a matter of hours, but I didn't pick up and each voicemail was identical, they were exactly the same from the sounds in the back round to the tone of his voice and the length of the actual voicemail. My phone says the call originated from Clyde, OH. Whoever they are, they are definitely not the IRS. It's a scam and it didn't work on me and I'm glad it didn't work on you. I wish the was a way to warn other suseptic other victims. These people, these conditions artist whoever they are, are the scum of the earth. They can't even face their victims. They hide in another state or country behind a telephone. They are true scum!!!!!!!

- Annoyed in VAThey called and left me a voicemail this morning. Sounded like he was sitting in a bathroom stall and on speakerphone. [***]. Hang up or do NOT call back. It's a scam. The IRS doesn't call you, they reach you by mail or in person. My mom is an IRS tax accountant- unless you owe hundreds of thousands or millions in taxes, you won't go to jail. Uh..karma people
