I got a call from this # 2 days in a row and they didnt leave any messages.

Don't give out personal info!!! Scam!

They called from this phone number, which is in Pennsylvania, local to me but said he was calling from Minnesota. Said they were calling from V (something something) publishers and I won a sweepstakes, just needed me to verify my age and income to make sure I qualified. I was skeptical but gave him the info. He continued on after asking my husbands age and income as well. Then continued to tell me great, you've qualified for an entry to win an ipad air. He told me I could qualify to receive gift cards, then asked for my credit card info. If I am WINNING something, why are you asking me for credit card info. Definitely a scam.

How do these type of people get anyone's cell number.  This is not a published number in any book.  I receive a few calls a week from organizations (crooks) trying to scam something from me and others.  Is there anything that can be done?  The do not call number doesn't seem to have any affect.

This number called me and asked for my bf I said he wasn't here and if I could take a message she said she'd call for him later. So I have no idea what it's about. You'd think if she wanted to scam us shed try it on me.
