Answered call from this number. Said they were calling from March of Dimes to find volunteers to mail envelopes...

Yeah, I got a call like that too - many years ago. Or it was a similar organization. But most likely not from the same number. They wanted me to use my own money to mail their letters to people in my neighborhood to persuade them to make a contribution. Basically use peer pressure. Problem is a huge percentage of the people who live in my neighborhood are college students. They don't have money to spare after paying tuition, rent, utilities, food, car insurance, etc. There are frat brats in my neighborhood and they always seem to have money for all the previous and booze and recreational drugs. I keep my distance from them.

I agreed and got the materials in the mail, but never sent them out. Too much of an introvert.
