Annoying calls from a company who is collecting on a bill that is not ours. Though the last name is the same, it's not us.

Ok, this is an insurance company trying to sell high pressure out of state vehicle and home insurance.  No thanks; I'll stick with my local Farmers Agent

I asked for quotes and they responded within ten minutes, but wanted my social security number.  I won't give that out on the phone.

Yup, put my name in on a 'comparison' Insurance site, and they called me in about 10-15 minutes, if not less. I didn't answer. We'll see if they use Google Voice to leave a message...if they do, I'll be back....

This is Unitrin Direct.  I purchased auto insurance from them and the guy I talked to wanted to follow up with me.  I am VERY pleased with their service.  They quoted me half of what I was paying with State Farm and significantly less than what I would have been paying with Allstate or Farmers.  If they call, give them a try.  They have been great!

Yep, I shopped for insurance.  Did not answer the phone.  I believe it is a insurance sales person.

the best way to avoid those excessive calls is not ENTER your phone number at all.

YES - I know they are required fields - what I do is enter a valid area code and 000-0000.  NO CALLS
they can only respond via email.  I tried the 000 in the area code and it never works.

I also suggest you get a different FREE email address to use for these as well.  Keeps the scammers out of your REGULAR email.
