    Harassment:

Multiple daily calls.  Upon answering the telephone, the caller disconnects without comment.  Makes one wonder if the caller is trying to determine if anyone is in the home, rather than wanting to communicate.

One one occasion, about 10AM 11 March, caller did not disconnect but ask for me by name.  When confronted with the multiple daily calls, the caller (voice of a mail with foreign accent) immediately disconnected without responding.

Caller ID says NFM Medical. No one usually on the other end. This last time I kept saying hello and after about 15 seconds a recorded voice said goodbye. Called the # back. Phone message says my call couldn't go through. I've researched this company and have yet to find a legit # to contact them.

I see that I can post the name below now, lol.

Lady with very strong Asian accent said she was calling from "Medicare Insurance." She said I could get a free scooter.  Asked if the address she had for us was correct.  I said yes.  She asked my height.  I asked her to give me a website where I could check into what she was saying.  She hung up.

    They're running a scam.

Receiving calls and when you pick up there is no one there.  Also when you try to return call they say not a working #.  This happens about 7 - 8 times a day.  How do you get rid of the call????

We have been receiving several calls per day.  Today, we have received five calls from about 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  They always hang up or have already hung up when I answer.  What is their scam?

I received the call from the number, and a man with an Indian accent said that he was with Medicare and that a scooter was to be delivered to my door.  I said that I did not believe he was from Medicare and that I did not want a scooter and did not need one.  He persisted.  I said I will report him to the police, and hung up.  He called back and again I said he was a fraud and needed to quit robbing people.  He called again and this time he began cursing me with "a$$hole"  "fu....er."  I put the number on call blocking.  I would like to know that this is all about.

As you've already deduced, the [***]'s a scammer. Medicare warns about scooter fraud here http://www.medicare.gov/publications/pubs/pdf/11046.pdf  AARP warns about Medicare diabetes fraud here http://www.aarp.org/money/scams-fraud/info-06 ... _diabetes_.html which isn't related to your call but it's something everyone should be made aware of.
