I work evenings, so calls to my unpublished number tend to make me lose sleep. I blocked their 804-234-9034 number and then today they woke me up at 08:24 am using 517-261-0034 MOD which like calling someone with a normal schedule something like 3 o'clock in the morning. Now that I think about it, our county and state has as a no noise ordinance so your neighbor doesn't wake you mowing the lawn before 9:30 am, so calling a unpublished private resident at 8:24 am is inappropriate. If they can just use another phone number I may not be able to get a good night rest unless I pull out all my phone plugs every night and plug them in before I go to work and miss important calls from my family. I guess I need to stop paying for this unpublished number since a lot of companies have it now! My time, my money, my rest and sanity spent fruitlessly for people who wouldn't appreciate me calling their homes frequently and when they are trying to sleep, a total lack of respect.

Caller ID says AARP Virginia, got a call yesterday said AARP Foundation.  What in the heck is going on?  I am a senior and a member of AARP you can bet I will get in touch with them and see what's going on.  This is new to me seeing AARP on the caller ID and from what I understand maybe it's March of Dimes calling?

MOD is March of Dimes calling.  They use several different numbers,
and with their latest have removed the "MOD"  ID from their number.

They call several times a day with at least three different numbers.

I do not want any more calls from this number.

I LOVE GOOGLE VOICE!!! Ever since I ported my home number (by way of porting it to a pre-paid cell phone, first) I have not had my phone ring from these guys... the only way I know they keep calling is because I have Google Voice send me an email when I've missed a call.

When I check the missed call list on the webpage, it looks like I keep getting calls from this number, but my phone never rings because I "blocked" the number when they first called me, weeks ago.

Look into Google Voice... it's free, and if you combine it with an OBI100 device, you can use all your landlines for free...forever! All you need is to have a broadband internet line (Cable or FIOS are best).

MOD is short for March of Dimes.  I get 2 or 3 calls a day.  I looked up the number and I know for a fact that it is them.  These callers are telemarketers and want your money, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were all scammers.   They wouldn't leave a message because they don't want to leave traces of their calls so we can't report them and they change their number often so you can't block or trace them.  I just am refusing to pick up my phone if I see on the caller ID that its an unknown caller or an 800 number.  I hate my phone!

Caller ID doesn't identify caller, just says Haymarket, VA.  
I look it up on line & it says MOD.  MOD could be March Of Dimes or it could be something else.

At any rate, caller only let phone ring 3 times & hung up, as any other MOD phone number that has called me in the last few months.  I do not answer unknown calls anyway.

These folds at the March of Dimes will never get another dime from me.  I started getting calls from them from two different upstate NY numbers, sometimes twice or more in a day.  I blocked those and then got a call from a number in Maryland.  This last one is in Virginia.  That makes at least four different numbers that are being used to try to solicit donations.  I'll just keep blocking any new numbers.  I wrote them a letter recently and let's see if anything changes.  I'll be surprised if it does!  These are the most obnoxious, unrespectful telemarketers I've ever run into!  I'll give them credit for persistance.  Unfortunately, since MOD is a charitable organization, they don't have to honor the Don't Call list.

These people call morning and night using at least five differebt nummbers,  I really think that they are going under the title March of Dimes because I did see the full name at some point on my Caller Id.  I don't know if they are legitimate or .  They never leave a message.  Perhaps I need to contact March of Dimes.  I can't imagine that they operate this way.  All of my calls have MO and the number.  Why do I have an unlisted number?

The person who I spoke to at 914-740-1892 said she was calling on behalf of the March of Dimes and that the national do-not-call list does not apply to non-profit businesses.

I do not appreciate all these calls. I do not know if it is really the March of Dimes, a third-party company they hired, or a scam.

Five calls in one week is just plain rude. Evidently, some people are getting more calls than that and at very inconvenient times. Perhaps it is not really the March of Dimes but some scammers.

Along with all the numbers listed above by Steve, they are also using 240-210-7121 with MOD on the caller ID.  Just all scams.  We never answer our phone if it isn't family.  If it is important they will leave a message and call back number.

MOD is the [***] March Of Dimes. They refuse to stop soliciting and somehow manage to refuse deletions from their stinking telemarketing cesspool.

This site uses MOD and AARP identification illegally.  Do not be fooled by this caller.  It is a telephone porn service that if answered, searches for your address then puts your information on the internet for purposes of porn.  Report them instantly as I have.
