Call daily for a week, no message. Now blocked.

Called at noon.  Identified only as Centreville, VA.  Thought I recognized the number so answered. Sounded like a call center.  Asked for me by name, I said not here, any message?  They said no, would call back.  Out of curiosity I called the number back.  They answered and identified themselves as Salvation Army.  I'm surprised. I didn't think they used unidentified cold calls.  I get plenty of mail solicitations from them.

Got a call from this number and this time I decided to pick up.  Some lady said "hello" and then she didn't want to talk any further.  After saying "hello" back in a smart a** tone of voice, she hung up.  Could be some kind of charity scam.  The called ID only displayed a city and state like so many recent spam/scam calls do.

Salvation Army is legit. Don't let scammers turn you off. Go to charity navigator.com to confirm.

Scam call

Don't know anyone in this area so assumed it to be the usual trying to get money for nothing.  I did not answer of course.

Called cell phone twice within  30 min.  ID said Braddock, Va. No voicemail left.  Will block.

Another scammer placed on the block list.  God is watching you.

Just called my home number. Didn't leave a message, now blocked.

Don't know who these twits are but they made back-to-back calls Saturday evening about 7:00.

Caller ID said Braddock VA - there is no city in Virginia named Braddock.  They have called several times over the past several days and have never left a message.   11-25-2015

ditto - called my cell and I didn't  answer.

So annoying, my phone rings constantly with either UNKNOWN NAME or a City Name.  If there isn't any caller id, i don't answer or i pick up and hang up.  So ready to get rid of my home phone
