They send me a letter saying that I won a Android tablet and if I called within 72 hours, I will get a Restaurant Dining Card. They even used the Android logo in the letter! I am not interested in calling. This is a typical scam letter.

Give me a break..what a scam...tore it up...also offers a resturant.com 100 dollar credit card...

I am not affiliated with Direct Buy, but this isn't a scam.  It is a promotion.  You can get these items if you buy furniture from Direct Buy.  That is the promotion.  You need to attend the meeting (I have have been to a few of these) where various high pressure sales tactics and pstchological mind games are used to coerce you into buying furniture under the Direct Buy contract.

I received a letter that states I "won an Android Touchpad tablet Computer and that I should call 571-288-0202 and warned this is their final notification."  What a crap. I searched online to find entry to report this scam. Such tactics is totally dishonest and disgusting. The business name at the back of the letter is Directbuy Woodbridge.  Owner's names are listed in the letter. They should be ashamed of what they are doing.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Called just 5 minutes ago and I heard voices, like a group or a crowded place in the background. Then they hung up. I called back and it was an automated message that said, "You have reached the reservation line". No idea who it was.

on September 4, 2015 8:03pm I found missed call from this 571-288-0202 on my cell phone I called back no one answered and again today September 8, 2015 at 12:19pm called my cell phone when I answered it and said hello hello after few minutes I heard the woman voice ehh and hang up and when I called back for few minutes it was like busy signal and I called back again to find out who is this person wanted to know why they call my cell phone and don't talk or don't leave a message and it keep ringing no one answer its really annoying.

I have received several calls from this number but they never leave a message. I won't pick up because I have no idea who it is. I did call and asked that the caller stop calling. Now will wait and see

they've called twice, and i called back only to get directed to an automated answering machine.
