Another charity, if caller ID is correct

Called twice, once before 8:30 am and again at 12:18 pm. No message of course. Blocked number. It looks like it is from United Breast Cancer Foundation, not highly rated by Charity Navigator.

Caller ID shows 571-298-8288. Claims to represent a charitable organization. They are very pushy, with many repeated calls, even after being told to remove number from their calling list. One call occurred before 9:00 AM, so if you are home sick prepare for this morons to keep you from getting some rest.

They call my home number almost daily. Started around beginning of May 2016. (So for last 9 days.) I answered once (my mistake) so now I probably have years before they'll stop calling me. When I answered, no one spoke.

I've gotten a bunch of calls from this number as well as from one that caller ID's as Breast Cancer.  I blocked that one; maybe this is their alternate annoying number.  I tend to think calls like this aren't charities at all but are tests to see if the number is working before selling it to foreign scammers.  Blocking this number as well.

They also use 571-758-2555 in an attempt to get around N0 M0

Didn't pick up. No info listed, no message. Claims above suggest Breast Cancer. They are likely correct. Low rating, calling here from different numbers with caller ID.

We are bloody fed up with all these annoying calls and no longer pickup any of them.  We now block them all via our computer which gives them a notice they have reached a number no longer in service.

United Breast Cancer.  Was calling me on 571-758-2555 , and when I blocked it, called me on this number.  What's the point?  I have already shown no interest

Several calls-I blocked them. I know close to 100% of telemarketers claiming to be collecting for charities are SCAMMERS POCKETING THE MONEY they collect. Those claiming to collect for 'breast cancer' are preying upon us because they know breast cancer is a constant topic in the news.

This is a call from a fraudulent charity, where 95-100% of whatever you donate will go into the pockets of the organizers. The worst thing you could ever do is give them a credit card number over the phone, as a $10 donation might show up as $100 or more on your statement. About the only legitimate cancer organization I know of is the American Cancer Society. The rest are phonies. As this is a major election year, all manner of fraudulent political, causes, opinion polls, surveys, charities, college fund raising, etc., etc. are in operation. Just call block all of them.

I have my number on the DO NOT CALL LIST and update it ever few years.  So this type of charity is not legally allowed to call?  Are you on the DO NOT CALL LIST!  If so, probably not Breast Cancer Charity?
New FBI advice given to me, do not answer calls if you do not know who it is!!!  If your internet is DSL when you answer the phone or call them back they can drop a virus, or mal ware, etc. into your computer.  Then you start getting "Call immediately or your computer will crash" or your Facebook friends will all receive new requests to be your friend and someone will pretend to be you and have a fake conversation with someone on that friend list and talk them into some scam and out of their money.

An alleged charity ,what do they want? what else,your money. do not commit yourself to any caller you do not know.Donate to the charity of your choice.

Unknown and never left the  message

Got a call several times in the past few days - also two  today - one  that my husband answered and it was for me.  The lady on the other end scoulded me for beings so difficult to reach and then started begging for a small donation for all the cases of breast cancer that would be occurring this year and could they count on me for a small donation if they sent me an envelope?  I told her that I had issues myself that I had to take care of and she kept pushing for the $20.00 donation because of the dilemma for "these women". I told her I had my own dilemma and couldn't help.  She started to argue further and I hung up on her.  I felt Like I was being harassed and should have told her that!   Very annoying!!!!

Frequency of calls from this # amounts to harassment. I never pick up, but they call and call and call.

I inadvertently answered the call and the caller had a nice voice and in a upbeat manner she said "it's as hard to reach you as it is to get my kids to clean their room".  Then went on to talk about the charity "United Breast Fund".  I had the feeling it was a recording, but it pauses for you to answer the questions.  "She" asked if I wanted to donate - pause - I said "no" - pause - 'she' said "I hear ya.  How about $10?" - pause - I said "no" - pause - 'she' said "I hear ya. I'll get your information next".  I then hung up.  The only positive thing about it was the voice was American and very personable.  They'll try anything!..............

Twice today - so far.  A genuine charity but gives less than 5% to the actual cause.  The rest goes for "expenses".  Since we're all on the internet search the charity's name before considering.  If you really want to donate do it with a recognized agency.
