These people have been calling me for over a yeartrying to get me to sign up for a credit card. I am on a "no call" list. I want to know how these people got my number. I have tried to call them back to have them quit calling but there is an automated answering system that requests your conformation number. I am afraid they are fraudulent.
If there is somewhere I can go to make them stop and get damages for lost minutes I would be glad to know.

You can contact your cell phone provider and ask for instructions on how to block an incoming number.
Each service provider does this differently but they almost all have some option to do so.

Just got a call from this number too on my cell. No msg left.

Shows as "VA, USA" on my phone.

Just got a call from this number. One ring and hung up.

I received this call today and I am on the no call list on my cell phone.

Got a miss call from this number to my cell. It only rang for like 2 sec and hung up. No vm left.

Stupid hang-up call after only two rings, I didn't even have time to answer my cell.

same here...they called me on my cell this morning when i called back the automated answering system said "wait till we process your record" i knew something is not right and I hang up.

Same deal here. Unfortunately, if I had to guess I'd say someone is testing a list of numbers automatically to make sure they're valid. Probably filtering a list for sale to someone...
