called and was a robot; said my credit card had "no current problems" and to call back to get a reduced rate. Didn't say if it was from the bank or where. When I called back, no real person was available to speak to me, only the robot voice.  Sounds like a scam to steal identity!

They hang up when I answer.  When I called back I hear a recording of an Indian woman.  I do not know who I hate more, the companies that make the unwanted calls or the companies that give out my personal information.  I think that these organizations should be obligated to give the source of where they recieved my information from in the first place.

Beware all of this stuff...bogus companies are out to hit vulnerable consumers, especially now.  

One time, I started asking them who they were and they just hung up on me.

I received 2 calls from them yesterday on my cell phone. I would also like to know who these scam artists are. I hope someone can nail them.

they called me to saying they would lower my apr on visa or mastercard but then i got very suspicious. I got the supposed number i was supposed to call and tried to get transfered to him - they didnt know him... while on the phone with the TRUE company he called me again and told me to hang up on them because he could do it for me better then the other ppl... i had given him some information already so i put alerts on my credit so they cant use my information. be very careful with these guys... i dont know how smart they are, but they were almost convincing.

most of the time they called it was restricted, only once did the number 571 431 1945 appear - they messed up i guess.

571-431-1945 calls us all the time.  We need to find out how to get rid of them from bothering people

Called me too, but I don't answer until I go to this site and see who it is.  They didn't leave a message.

called a work phone and said YOU WON A ALL PAID VACATION FOR 2 IN CANCUN MEXICO PRESS 1 NOW TO SPEAK WITH A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT AND IF YOU ACT NOW YOU WILL GET AN ADDITONAL 4 DAYS ADDED TO YOUR WINNINGS. pressed 1 and hung up calls all the time says I'm a select few that has been chose but phone number they called has 9 people that use it maybe we all one ha.

smae thing here, but they aren't the only ones that call i get one froma  slaes dept, and if you press one they will let you talk to somone, at first i told them i don't have a credit card, cause i dont' but when someone similar kept calling me here is what i did and after about three times they quit, i warned my family ahead of time, id answer press one to get a human, and then scream a blood curddliyng scream,,, onperson actually kept talking til i screamed again, it worked, they eventually quit calling

They call constantly; several times a day.  They neither leave a message nor speak to me when I say "Hello?". I admit I don't wait long after "hello?"...it helps screen out automated calls since they often have them set to wait a ridiculous amount of time before they begin their spiel -- I guess to insure there is someone actually on the other end of the phone.  I just ignore this number now, but it is annoying.

Recording said that I won a vacation and to press 1 to claim your vacation. I did and an "agent" answered. I told him that I was on the national do not call list and don't want you @#$%'s calling me.  Then, a recorded voice told me that my number is removed from their list.

8/4/09 phone rang and I didn't pick up because i didn't recognize the tele #. The hung up and didn't leave a message. Fourth time they did this

Unknown call.  They didn't leave a message about who they were or why they were calling.

If I answer, I get a recording about having "no problems" with my credit card. If I don't answer and call back, I get a recording from a woman w/ an Indian accent telling me to push 1 or 2. The calls keep coming. Driving me nuts.

I just got a call this afternoon saying that I won a paid vacation to cancun and just press one for further information. I did and a girl named Marisol answered and asked if I wanted further information, I said "yes" and then there was a bunch of static and people in the background talking, and then she hung up.  I called back and an Indian woman answered.  I told my boyfriend and he said back in Hawaii people that answered this numbers somehow used the number to make long distant phone calls.  He said that numbers like this will appear on your phone bill and cost up to $2000.  Needless to say I no longer answer these phone calls.
