Received text message in response to an ad I placed on Craigslist from this #. Pretty obvious scammer...Beware! Wanted my bank info and wire transfer.

This is not a scam....come up with a proof that this number had scammed you.......if you don't have any proof I guess you should get something doing with your time...

I just had a call from this number, but I did not answer...and the caller did not leave me a voice message. Are you aware of the "nature of" the calls from this number by any chance?

i went through the same thing it is a fake paypal with differnt people, well thats what i have came up with so far. he was scam he said he would have 650 in a account even used emblems from paypal. once i shipped package i went home to call paypal since the email didnt work then come to find out if i wouldnt have raced back and got my things i would be out a lap top and my brothers ps vita,. i would not work with him. i didnt give him the time of day for it to get to nigeria and then no money on my side. just thought for the nxt person that figures out to search the number ....he does not call only text.

Same with me, as the rest of these posts. He seemed very interested in my product on Craigslist but the only way he would pay is if i gave him my bank account information to do a wire transfer.  I suggested other ways to pay & he wouldn't do any of them. He was also very pushey w/doing it that way & that way only. He is a scammer & he also uses "Gods" name to try to make you feel more comfortable.  It's ok, when time comes, he will have to answer to God, not me. Let's just pray no innocent person falls for his fraudulent nonsense.

Received a call from this number and did not recognize it so did not answer.  Checked this website and found it to be a scammer.

I don't even give these guys a chance anymore--i just pick it up and hang it up.  I never give out my phone number so I am not sure how they get these numbers unless their robo system just arbitrarily dials until it gets an answer.

I get calls from 571, western Oregon, western Washington State, Las Vegas, Nevada, the island nation of Jamaica.
Credit Card Services want to reduce my interest rate to 6%.  When I tell them that since I pay my credit cards monthly at 0%, they hang up.

You only get scammed if you give the callers what they ask.

Called yesterday and today....recorded message for Card Services.  I hit option 3 so that they won't call again, but obviously that didn't work.

The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net and http://www.CallerID4U.com

Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their scam then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet.

5.    People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office

A robocall to a cell phone is illegal. Guilt by association is enough proof of a scam. So go back off in your own Jack yard.
