Received a text message from (571)535-6425 stating:"Here is a chance to win your own iPad3. Reserve your spot at http://getipad2.me.

Received a text message from 571-535-6425 with the same message as "Frank" above stated.

571-535-6425 texted me also. I have to pay for every text I get.  Luckily I was sitting at a public computer and found your messages of warning. So I didn't open it.

Received a text message from the above number. Any one know how they get your number and how to stop this?

I got a text from this number saying to win a free iPad3 at http://getipad2.me. Telemarketing/Spamming via text? Not happy about this.

So has anyone opened this text?

Got the message today.  Don't know how this person got my number though.

I got almost the same message except it said iPad2. same URL though. Message was received at 11:26PM Eastern time. I replied to it saying "F#%k off" and then proceeded to send several more messages saying "spam" in the hopes that it may flood their system or have some sort of adverse effect. I tried calling the number, got a recording saying "the wireless customer you are calling is not available, please try again later." then it repeats in Spanish, then it says "message 1va01ml" I then tried txting that code to them. No reply.

On 25 Nov 2011 got a text that stated: "Choose your cars, get a free iPad. http://getipad2.me "

I thought that the "me" at the end of the URL indicated Mexico as the source, but a search of the URL revealed the following:

I thought that the "me" at the end of the URL indicated Mexico as the source, but a search of the URL revealed the following:

Received a text from the same number stating the same thing as "Frank".   I replied DO NOT SOLICIT ANYTHING FROM THIS NUMBER AGAIN!

No response.  Just curious how to stop these calls/texts because it is anoying.

I received an small from this also. So I filled out an ICE3 Form with the FBI Cyber crimes task force division. Also I sent an email to the scammer stating what I did and what is going to happen. I suggest you do the same. The ICE3 takes some time to fill out but it will inquire an investigation. :) Don't mess with a Ranger War Veteran :)))))))))
