Keep getting texts from this person wanting to buy my phone I have listed on local classified site. Wants me to send to Nigeria. 5th time people from USA area codes text me to send to different country. I live in Canada. This is ridiculous.

caller keeps texting me wanting my furniture i posted on kijiji and wanting to use paypal, he told me he's not trying to scam me and he gave me his name and email addy says his name is steve and is email is stvcrtn7@gmail.com.  Don't know if i should believe him or not?? I looked up his number on the internet and this is what i see.....if other people are having the same problem with the same guy then obviously its a scam

He's a scammer... Called on my furiture as well. I doubt there are many dining rooms in Nigeria...
Tell you want cash or bank draft and see how that plays out or have him e-mail the money to you.

This guy annoys me with the paypal for my car. Don't want to use interac money transfer or money draft. Total scam!

Selling my trailer online, I also received a text message asking for my paypal account information.  Thought it was to good to be true so did some research and this is what I found.  Obviously I have cut all communication with this person now, thanks to you guys.  He also called himself Steve and gave the same email address as above.

Seen on Kijiji.
Maybe he can use the truck to pick up the dining room set!

I received a text from this guy as well wanting to purchase my truck.  He told me to set up a paypal account.  I told him that he could give me a certified cheque or money order if he wanted it and asked how he planned to pick it up (I had googled the number and it came up as being from New York).

The same guy was wanting to buy my Toyota 4x4 through paypal so I was thinking this was too good to be true.....so I just told him....."let's deal with this in person and then maybe we can deal!".....lol no answer back yet.......darn scammer

he wants to buy my car, and he says that he sent me money already which i never got from him and he said he is gonna call fbi on me lol  such a scam! he want me to send my own money to some adress in UK

Yup...Hes a scammer. We should be able to get this fellows # blocked or charged with some kind of crime.

We posted a vacuum truck and trailer on Craigslist and got the same text from this number. Wanted us to do our business through paypal and luckily I googled his email address and this website pulled up.. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH HIM, HE IS OBVIOUSLY A TOTAL SCAMMMM!!!!!!

I have the same spammers texting me. And the number seems to be from Dallas Texas. +1(214) 810-2806.
My add was posted on Kijiji.ca. It is for Canada not internationally.

Texted me today in response to a craigslist ad for computer equipment. They wanted to pay for the item using PayPal. When I balked, they offered Western Union. They used poor English grammar and parroted PayPal boilerplate about the service being attached to a bank account and very safe.

This person was very persistent, and wanted me to ship the item "abroad." I declined and blocked the number.

Going by the name edmonds herve and to email him back at herveindhouse@gmail.com

Thank you so much to everyone for posting.  This guy has been bugging me for weeks regarding the sale of my car and wanted my Pay Pal info which I didn't give.  Craigslists warnings are so right on.
