The 576 area code is NOT a valid area code.  Has to be a scam!

The Caller ID says the Area Code is 576, and that doesn't exist -- except in the minds of crooks and scammers. Fortunately, my online call-blocking service intercepted and blocked the number, so they already knew the call was bogus. Poor me; I'll never know if I won a free trip, a cruise or the Nigerian lottery.

As others have noted, 576 is unassigned area code.  Got a call from this number - they left a blank voicemail that lasted a couple seconds.

Credit Card scam. Once you get an operator (or whoever they are, they just hang up). I hope these guys get caught!!!!!!

Whoever it is breath heavy into the answering machine. Didn't say one word except heavy breathing. If it happens again, I will report it to police.

Called saying they wanted to talk to me about my computer. Scam.

Have received 2 or 3 calls wanting to show me errors and warnings on my computer.  They have heavy accents, possibly India or Pakistan.  Today when I started asking questions about who they were and who they work for, they became hostile and threatened to disconnect my computer!

Called but left no message. I am on the do not call list.

Person with an accent said he was from IT calling about my computer.  Complete SCAM...

Left msg. on voicemail.  Very heavy accent, he didn't realize he was talking to a machine.  The msg left was calling about my computer.  Total Scam

Caller ID says Out of area, 1-576-295-9379   Call activated voicemail system but they left no message.

Said they were tech support and I had a virus. Keep the fool on 25 minutes before he figured out he was the one being scammed and hung up. Note to self...get a hobby.

I had the same scam about my computer, Just laughed real hard and hung up,
should of pretended to go to my computer and kept them on hold forever!
