Called the number back told the guy I reported him to the FTC which I did and he started calling a MotherF---er called it again and he awnsered the phone and started calling me a A--Hole and MotherF---er again! Obviously a criminal organization and just a scum bag low life! Anyone gets a call from that number report it to the FTC and FCC!!!!!

Same!  IRS scam.  prerecorded computerized voice threatening police will arrest.

Your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. Now this is the final attempt to reach you to know your case number and to speak to a federal agent. Call back on 585-200-5232. Female voice.

Auto message stated IRS and failure to respond to allegations would lead to arrest on 5 counts of ? I called back and they stated that my "caseworker" would have to return my call. Wierd!!

Same theme as previously explained by others. Ever notice with those type of threatening calls that they never ask for a specific name in the household?  It's always something like: "We have been trying to reach you, etc......"  NOT:  "This message is for _____..."  I also find it amusing how other posters on here play mind games with them and are not intimidated in the least. Score one for our side!

I contacted Rochester NY Police and filed a report on the number listed because the person begin threatening and was using graphic language! Police said they would investigate but there wasn't much they could do! Also reported it to the US Treasury Dept. so who knows where it will lead! But it is 100 percent a scam!!!! Do not give any info at all and don't let them threaten you just hang up and report it to the proper authorities!!!!

Unfortunately there really is little that can be done due to the fact these telemaggoters are based overseas.

US Treasury Dept. said they don't call! They knock or write a letter..... They told me it is a Federal Felony to impersonate a Treasury Dept. employee so this may gain some traction! So please report this and lets gets this stopped before they get someones info!!!!!!
