She said she had a lot of money and wanted to buy Long Term Care.

I received the same call but to my home phone number.  Kathy left a voice mail message with this number to call her back.  I am a Fee Only RIA and have no idea how or why Kathy would have called me...smells fishy!!!  I won't be calling Kathy back...

I got a voice mail today from this number.  Said her name was Kathy Panzerelli (??) and that she was traveling in the Indianapolis area and needed to talk to me about getting financial planning done.  I have a fee only RIA, no idea who this person is or what she wants.  Might be a recruiter/head hunter or something trying to get you to call back and discuss "opportunities" with other companies.

Today we got a call from Kathy Panzarella [spelled it for me twice] at this number and [like the report from Aaron] she said she was on vacation and, at first, said she wanted to talk to someone right away.  She was asking about life insurance, DI, and Long Term Care.  Later she asked if we sold investments as well.  When I said that someone could call her back later this afternoon she said she'd call back next week when she returned home.  I know I won't be answering her call again.

My assistant received call from Kathy Panzarella at 585-461-2184, caller ID showed Private.  She asked for me by name and said it was regarding financial planning and told my assistant that I would know what she was calling about.  (As if we've spoken before.)  I have never heard, nor spoken to Kathy before, so that was fishy.  My assitant took her name, had her spell it twice, and told her I would call her back once I was in the office.  Not sure if I will be calling her back, but if I do, I'll update you on any information I get from the call.  It was just very fishy.

I had a voicemail left by Kathy. She said she had a "financial planning opportunity" for me. After viewing her Linked In page, she is a financial planner herself.  Has to be a headhunter based in New York based on what I'm reading.

Received a call yesterday. Kathy Panzarella left a message about financial planning.Number left was 585-461-2184. Same M.O. as others.

We've had several calls from Kathy Panzarella over the last 6 months. One one of the calls, she said she had received a windfall. She was going to be in the area and want to see if we could help invest the proceeds. Our office manager explained that we are a fee-only RIA, Ms. Panzarella wanted to know if we had commission-type products. When the response was no, Ms. Panzarella sounded disappointed. End of call. Why would anyone who received a windfall want to pay anyone commissions? Unless she was actually wholesaling commission-based products - or a regulator checking up on fee-only advisers.

Same call today here in Indy.  Financial planning opportunity.  Caller ID Blocked.

Just spoke to Kathy.. she told me Ivan Holzer referred her to me.. and that I knew him.. no I don't . Kathy then went on to say that a manager at the Company I am at ( I asked her what company) she said Met..incorrect referred her..NOT..because I had read the comments above, I was able to put her on the spot.. calling her bluff..she is a head hunter .. denies it..said she "helps the managers out".. Kathy.. you better google yourself and read the comments..everyone is on to you..

Received a call today (10/13/2015) from Kathy Panzaralla. She wanted to discuss an opportunity to meet with an Allstate Financial Services recruiter who handles Louisiana. She was very pleasant, clear and concise about the opportunity. She was also very knowledgeable about our industry and for due diligence purposes, questioned me about my particular business lines to see if there would be a possible fit with the opportunity. Unfortunately, there was not. I did not experience any of the negative comments that I see above and very much enjoyed our telephone conversation.

Received a call today from Kathy Panzarella who identified herself as a consultant in the industry who had some sales opportunities
that might be of interest to me. She worked with recruiters for other firms with senior level positions. Was very pleasant and knowledgeable
about the business and understood that her position was not a fit for me personally. I had a nice call with her and we discussed the opportunity as well as the current regulatory environment and consolidation in the industry.

Got a call from Kathy - The Caller ID just said "Private Number" so I let it go to voicemail. Below is the dictation of her message:
Hi Mike, it's Kathy Panzarella. If you can give me a call. I have the financial planning opportunity in Portland that I wanted to talk with you about. I could be reached on my cell. It is 585-461-2184 and again it's Kathy Panzarella. Thanks.

I'm a financial advisor and been doing this for long enough to spot something suspicious.  I instantly googled her name and number...lo and behold, I came across this thread.  Sounds like I'm one of many that she has tried to dupe with a nonchalant vibe.

She called saying she had a referral in my small rural county needing financial planning assistance.  I'm a CFP, but did not call her back

she called and said she was in our city looking for LI and on currently traveling on vacation and said to call this number....suspicious and weird that i googled her name and this was the first link

She has called me multiple time and says about the same crap as she says to everyone else.  She's a recruiter and will say anything to keep you on the phone or to call her back.

Have received several calls from Kathy Panzarella in the past three months.  Always has a life or financial planning opportunity to discuss with me in my area.  She has also called several other reps in our office.  Sounded fishy and this website confirms us.  She may have changed #'s - now 585-461-2184
