Someone from this number is claiming to be an police name judy smith from the irs

Same number, same message. Goggled number first before responding because it just "smelled off"; glad to see that it doesn't appear to be legit.

I figured it for a scam too and I hate this cr___ , so called him back. He asked the name of my lawyer. Ha! I answered A. Lincoln. And when I asked him who the Sec. of Treasurer was, he became irritated, reluctant to answer, and asked me why.  I said because I think you are a crook. Oddly enough he disconnected me. FYI I just reported it to IRS. It was fun!

I also got a call from this #. saying it was Mrs. Smith from the IRS and I should contact them before that take action against me.  I call the # back and I got a guy in India.  I told him the IRS does not call people and that there call was a scam and then I hung up on him.

Received a call to my cell phone saying it was IRS office and and a threat of legal action. I knew it was a fraud because IRS sends a letter, doesn't call. And call was made on Saturday before 9 am

This is the thrid or fouth time I've got called by these people.  I almost believed them the first time, but then I asked them for my social secerity number, they got very unset, and finally hung up. I called the IRS and they told me they send letters, don't call on the phone. Now when they call they hang up before my answering machine picks up.

Robo call received to call IRS immediately legal action was being taken

To call 585 479 8506

Called number immediately - individual did not identify as IRS or  provide Agent Number - stated his name was Roger

Requested to provide my phone number & name - than address

Since call appeared to be strange - When address was requested - I asked what address was listed
I than told them this was a spam call that is identified on the website as such

The individual became very upset

I hung up

No one picks up when I call back. The phone hangs up after 2 rings or the line is busy. Can barely here message. Says its IRS
