Automated call that blatantly lies about my Google listing not being claimed and a bunch of other nonsense. It is a scam.

Received an automated call from them at 10:30 AM 6/27/14. Followed the requested"push 1 if..." numbers until I got a live agent calling himself Kyle. I asked to be put on their do not call list, as I am on the National Do Not Call registry already. Told them I did not respond to "auto dial" advertising. He tried to give me a line about how my business was not verified on Google, and was at risk. Auto dial message was very deceptive, saying how my business was at risk- a line he continued to repeat. When I told him I do not respond to companies using an auto dial soliciting, he huffily said"Well, I'm talking to you now, right?" After I repeated my requests to be taken off their list, he hung upon me. Scam system. Please shut these people down.

These companies are relentless. Now they try to trick you with a local area code. Some one has to stop these robo calls!!

I reported this number to the Do Not Call registry. Sick of the scam calls.

I wasn't able to pick up the phone they leave a message so I called back and it said press one to be removed which I did. Now I'm thinking I shouldn't have! When will just freaking government do something about this crap!

Same as previous posters.  Google Advertising scam about how my listing isn't verified, and then something about claiming a free Google Website or listing, or some crap.  I don't own a business, but proceeded through the prompts anyway (I was ready to tear someone a new one on the other end).

Once I got through the prompts, the person asked my name and whether I was the business owner.  The person hung up on me after I asked "What business are you referring to?" - a seemingly innocuous question.

I reported them to the Do Not Call registry, and advise anyone else reading this to do the same.

Ad Scam. Why do they call when this number is on the Do Not Call List?

Called at 13:00. I didn't answer and they left no message.
Blocked.

Did not answer, but I get calls from this number every week, and for the last 4 or 5 months . Caller ID says from area code in Honeoye Falls in upstate NY. They never leave a message.

Same as other posters.  Automated message answers saying it is Google and they need to update your listing.  Then when a human comes on the line I was asked to verify my phone number on file with Google.  I told them that if they were Google and they called me they should know this already.  I told him that I was suspicious of the call as it seemed like some sort of scam and then they hung up on me.
