They have called me 3 times today from a private number with a barely audible message saying it is David Grey calling and if I don't call back this number I will have to appear before a judge or grand jury.  Something like that.  Very bad reception all 3 times and very hard to understand.

Just got same, bad reception recording, must be a scam. The number called from was 272-318-0000 which I will google next.

Actually it is so garbled not 100% sure if there could be a 6 instead of a 4 when the call back number was repeated

Left message saying they were the U.S. Department of Treasury.  Called them back on my cell using *67 to block my number, asked for a contact name and they hung up.  Called back and told them that the United States Department of Treasury doesn't phone people and that they should get a real job and stop scamming people.  I will add this to my ongoing complaint with the FTC regarding scam calls.

It's one of the MANY IRS scams going around.  Block the number.

I just received the same phone call from this same #.  Claiming to be David Grey.  Very hard to make out the recording but did hear if ignored something about going before a grand jury and a  federal criminal offense.

As listed above, this jerk has called 3 times and twice left the number of 585-542-4224 and once with 585-542-4201 but if I try to call back, it is always busy so I've stopped!
