- AudreyReceived two calls from this number. Caller leaves no message. I have been receiving unwanted calls ever since I made an inquiry to AARP Medicare supplementation. I told the customer service Rep. that I did not want to speak with any of the agents at this time. Request is apparently abeing ignored.

- Caller: unknown morons inc
- ccp475bxRang phone on mult-level dwelling could hear other apt phone ringing 16x even some with answering in serial. They do a lot of cold calling but some people work during even heard cell phones for one has to believe robotic calling or mass delivery but won't leave any messages for screening calls. no good business losses money this way. No good people but in time like these extorting works better.
- Caller: no name

- annoyed replies to Steve| 1 replyStop answering. If you don't have caller ID, you should get it. You have the right not to accept unwanted phone calls.
- Rose replies to tedAt one time I began responding to these [***] by blasting them with an air horn. It seems like a great idea, but I suspect that the phone circuitry limits the db level before passing on. But, who knows? Maybe not! Wouldn't that be a riot? There has to be SOME method of responding to these people who could care less if you're on a DNC list. It is a nice gesture by our lawmakers, but in reality, it's a joke.
R - Anne| 1 replyCaller ID Akron NY , left no message on answering machine .. One thing that should be a red flag Akron should be a 716 (Buffalo) area code , 585 is a Rochester area code.. Area code and caller ID do not match..
- Brian| 1 replyI grew up in Akron, NY. Live a few Towns over outside Buffalo, NY now. 542 is Akron, but Anne is correct with her above comment on area code. This call isn't really coming from Akron. It is being rerouted somehow. I am so tired of these companies. The "Do Not Call" is a joke and a waste of our tax dollars. I have tried the http://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/do-not-call-list registration for numerous numbers. It does nothing. 2012 and they can't track this $hit???
- FredStop Calling
- Retired LibrarianAlthough I am on both NYS and federal "do not call," just received yet another call from this company, which calls itself "Senior Medical Advisory" and offers free medical alert devices for seniors.
From what I have found, it is a scam; they are just trying to get personal information about seniors and the number they are calling from is not accurate but routed through possible several areas/numbers which makes it hard for the FCC to catch them.- Caller: "Senior Medical Advisory" supposedly
- Gary| 6 repliesJust got a call for this number. Listened to recording about medical alert device just to see how much info they would provide. Hung up and filed complaints with State of Tn, FCC, and FTC for violations of DNC law. Don't expect anything to be done. Filed about 100 of these before about violators.
Don't let anyone kid you. These numbers can be traced and most can be traced back to Public Telecom Utilities, a bogus telephone network set up for scammers. The callers hide behind Public Telecom's privacy stuff. The Feds and State's attorney general's office could get them if they wanted to, or the regulatory commissions in the state they operate could shut them down. They're are other ways the scammers operate but this one could be shut down immediately.
