Repeated calls demanding I return call, no information or why I got call.  I am current on bills so it must be some kind of sales ploy.

repeated calls from 585-563-2043.  I have a fairly new number and apparently, everyone and their mother, is after the person who used to have this number.  I get about 6 different calls a day.   People are rude and will not listen to what I have to say.  So, I just don't answer the phone anymore.   I signed up for the National Do Not Call registry for my new number and hope it helps, but I have the feeling these constant callers will not abide by that request.

Actually I get calls from (585) 563-2043 that I don't answer.  Are you trying to call me Joyce?  There may be someone who is spoofing your number and the rude people are the people trying to call the number back.

If you call the number back (I used a different phone) you will get an automated voice mail message that explains it is a metrix matrix (sp?) opinion survey. If they call you, it says, it is the company asking you participate in an opinion survey.

Didn't answer call but said MMI on caller id.

we got the call from these people and they were asking how our last transaction was with our electric bill.......

Repeated calls from this number.  They are rude and after I answered and stated I was busy I received a text message from a different number but same area code with a middle finger.  Ever since I have been receiving crude text messages from this other number, which appears to be an employee's cell phone number. 585-285-2580

Just got a call from this number, didn't answer.  Been getting lots of these types of calls lately.  Just registered on the "Do Not Call" gov registry, hopefully that will put a stop to this annoyance.

Receive calls from 585-564-2043 but they hang up when I answer.  I stay on the line after they hang up and listen to them attempt to make another call and then realize on an still on the line.  The caller ID says that it is MMI . . . which from other postings I assume is some survey company.  I wish they would quit calling or at the very least say WHY they are calling.

I have received calls from 585 563 2043 for the past two mornings awaking me from my sleep and if you know me that's not a good idea if u don't want flipped out on. However I never answer a call from a number i don't know. If it's important they will leave a message. If you have verizon like i do, you can block the number from calling you. That's what I did.

Got a call from them last week telling me they needed to ask me a 10-20 minute survey regarding UGI (gas utility).  I stated I did not have time and they said they would call back.  received another call from them but when my husband answered, they hung up on him.

The Company is called Metrix Matrix, it is a market research company, it does opinion polling, market research and customer satisfaction surveys. I have worked for a similar company before and they are contracted by various companies to perform research surveys on their customers. Your phone numbers are being given to them by the company they are doing research for. So I would listen to them and find out what or who they are calling for and then contact the company that gave them your number. Seems to work better.

I have recieved a few phone calls from this number and they do not inform me of who they are or why they are calling but simply hang up. I used *69 to find out what the number was and when I called I was surprised it was actually a survey company requesting opions from people.When I called the number back atleast it allowed me to leave a message requesting the phone calls stop. I am surprised that a professional company would not have the curtosy of saying who they are but hang up when they realize this is a law firm...and a busy one. Hopefully they will listen to the message and take this firm off the list.

we recived a called today from MMI, if it's a unknown number to us we just don't answer, they'll get tired of calling before we pick up and besides we know our collectors numbers when they call us, lol lol!!!!!

Calling my Do Not Call household REPEATEDLY

Just got called by this number & looked it up here.  I recently called my electric company to ask a question about a bill. There was a recording that said they may contact me to answer a satisfaction survey about the call.  I guess this was that survey call.  I didn't aswer, they didn't leave a message.

They call my fax line all the time and then hang up.  The fact that they repeatedly call a fax line proves that they aren't the brightest, are they?  Probably some sort of a scam going on - they all are.

Seems to be a research firm.  They knew enough information to probably be legit.  As a retired Private Detective I used to use this same technique to obtain or verify information.  But does not look like these guys are scammers.  They were apparently just contracted by the electric company to make sure their customer is not getting people any more irritated with them, than they already are.
