Called yesterday. left no message.

My caller ID says Attica, NY that's a maximum security prison.

Called today; left no message.  Caller ID read Attica, NY.

Must be a new scam, they don't leave a message

Had a ~long~ NUMBER above the phone number on Caller ID where city/town location should be
Called at 7:30 PM on 5/27/15 left NO message.

Got a call from this number no message. Just started 10 minutes ago after receiving 13 calls today alone from 415-376-1448.  When I finally answered that # it was to ask me if I wanted lower car insurance and when I told them to stop calling or I will report them as I am on the do not call registry interesting that now I got a call from this new number.

While it's true There is a max prison named Attica Correctional Facility it also the name of the village.

It's also the town where the prison is located.

CID Attica NY.  First call from this number, no msg.

Since several posters mentioned the prison and village, I checked.  The 591 prefix is a Verizon landline at the village, but NYS Dept of Corrections listing has the prison main phone as 585 591 2000. Caller from 6482 appears to be a spoofed number, outside the prison.

I received a call from this number at 8:35pm on May 27. Immediately googled it and then blocked it manually as well as the area code.

Since I unplugged my answering machine because I use the call blocker device, it rang a few times and hung up. So far, no call yet today but that doesn't mean anything.

Got it twice today; same thing, no message. One more time and I'm blocking it.

Got two calls today from this number... I have blocked the number.

Obvious telemarketer/scammer calling.... leaves no messages.

Loud STATIC noise on other end of the phone when answered. Caller said NOTHING.

The id states Attica, NY.  No message was left yesterday or today.

Attica is a maximum secure NYS prison located in Attica, NY.  The call form 5855916482 is a scam from Attica.  It is not from the prison.

585-591-6482 Attica NY keeps calling no messages are left.

ID said Attica. Didn't pick up. no answering machine.

One call. Answering machine not working. Didn't answer.
