They claim they were calling me to be a character reference for someone that I didn't even know. I smell scam.

Tina Vito called me claiming to be someone from Kelly Services and wondered if my daughter is still available and wanting a job.  I told her that she has a baby and not sure what her availablity would be but I'm sure she would want to work.  She asked me to verify all her information ...phone number and mailing address.  She said she would call my daughter right away.  I called my daughter she said it was NOT Kelly Services because she called them and she said the woman never called her back.  She called the above number and she gets the woman's voice mail.  She left her 9 messages and she has never returned her call.  What is this scam about?

Tina di vito called the town hall requesting information on a burial permit for my husband.  I called her and she said she would call me back in 5 min and never called me.  I keep leaving messages for her.  I believe this is some kind of fraud which should be stoped.  
My husband passed away.

I got a call from Tina stating she had a job offer for me and she would call me back with the interview details she had all my information including refrences and my current address and ohone number which just changed i thought it was really strange i havent given out my new information.she never called back. What type of scam is this

Got a suspicious call from one Tina Vito of Kelly services. She wanted me to verify information on a reletive, when I tried calling back to find out what was going on I srangely got disconnected. She would not answer repeated calls back. I used another phone and lo and behold she answered. We looked up HER info and now know where she lives. THIS IS SOME SORT OF SCAM and if anything further comes of it I will call the Police and probably visit her home

My grand mother got a call about my mother, my mom was wondering if it was the gas companies trying to get info. Are any of you involved in any gas company problems.

I am replying to your post because my mother received a call from this Tina broad tonight on her cell claiming that I had applied for a job and had used my mom as a reference which I have never done since employers do not want family used as a reference. This woman had all my info and wanted my mom to verify it, I really would like to know what this scam artist is up to and she really needs to be stopped.

My mom received a call from Tina Veto tonight on her cell claiming that I had applied for a job and put my mom down as a reference which I have never done since employers do not accept family members as references. She asked my mom if I was working and she also had my address, my mom told her to call me and she did but I missed the call. When I called back I got a voicemail and left a mess and would u believe I'm still waiting for a call back.

today I received the "call" from Tina posing as a Kelly rep.  She asked for personal references and since I am signed up with Kelly I gave them....BIG MISTAKE!  She is not from Kelly so...I reported the number to the REAL Kelly Services and they are now looking into.  She is a fraud and I will press charges against her if she ever calls again..or better yet, if she is with a collection agency that agency is also committing FRAUD>>>>> BEWARE!

hey...I need to let people know.....This Tina is calling for Capitol One/ Attorney's office in Rochester NY.....Please I am reporting them with and Attorney's office for FRAUD...do not give her any information...they can not do this...Please contact me via this and let's make them stop!

Hey guys.  Tina Vito is a U.S. Marshall!  I reported her to the Monroe County Sheriffs Department.  The Sheriffs department did an investigation and found out she is a U.S. Marshall so be careful because if she is looking for you....there must be some kind of reason.  Hope this helps.

Your biggest mistake was infering that the MCSO would be in any way capable of "investigating" anything to do with a US Marshal. They're far too busy keeping their own a**es off the Feds. radar to even consider sticking their noses anywhere near a govt. agency. And if they did, the last thing in the world a Fed. agency would do is ever tell them anything.

Tina vito called tonight telling me I was put down as a reference for my fiancee and she had a job for him lined up. However we did give numbers to her bc he had signed up for so many staffing agencies over the years. & after she had our numbers&address she said she would be calling him back in 20mins. And never did.. what can I do to report this?

Tina vito isn't a us Marshall, she's a debt collector. Period. She's employed by credit cardagencies, furniture rental places, etc she's there to scare. Monroe county sherriff doesn't get involved in CIVIL issues with bill collectors.

My roommate got a call from Tina, who left a message for me to call her back in connection with Rosemarie Estate. I was at work, so he called me and gave me the information.
Rosemarie pass-away over 15 year ago. Before calling back I look-up the number and here I am.

I received a call asking for a reference for my daughter. She wanted me to verify her physical address and landline #. She had both of these. I called my daughter and she had not used me as a reference or applied for a job.When I called the # on my caller ID, the answering machine said it  was the desk of Tina Vito.
How she got our #s we don't  know she had called my daughter earlier asking for a reference for my daughter's ex and told her that he address she gave was wrong.It sounds like some type of phishing.

Tina Vito called claiming she was an attorney form a "bank" representing a deceased relatives estate. This person is a scam! She has an answering machine and does not return phone calls. Do not give her any information!

Did you know it is ILLEGAL to claim to be an attorney or police officer if you are not?  That should tell you something about the caller.
