I keep getting calls and no one answers

calls says not a sales call then no answeres

They call quite frequently annoying....

I've been getting these too. I called them and asked what kind of company it was. She said CVCS.  She said they deal with "personal information and can't give me anything until they find out why they were calling me." After several minutes, she confirmed they weren't trying to get ahold of ME. I'm wondering if they will sell my name and number to other companies. Their daily calls were extremely annoying!!!!!

They also tell me they are from this CVCS. They are located somewhere in East Rochester.

Shows up as "East Rochester, NY" on caller ID. Will not leave a message.

I also got a call from this number I am from the rochester area. I asked who they were and what they do. They said cvcs and they handle personal business matter they asked me my name because I called them back and I just hung up. I have been getting alot of these bs numbers calling me wanting to know my info and everything so I never no if they are real or some fake company trying to scam hard workers. If they do not leave a message I will not talk to them or tell them anything about who I am or my real name

They are a debt collector service.  I recommend calling them back if you receive a call from them and don't answer.

CVCS I don't know who or why theses people are calling but they immediately want to record the phone call not cool

This sound like a debt collector or someone pretending to be a debt collector.  The other reports back that up, and they indicate that they are located in western New York which is the world's #1 capital for criminals pretending to be debt collectors.  Since they talked to you, they are now required to do this:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

CVCS...I think scam. I currently have a debt with CBCS (very similar name and I have legit paperwork) and they say they will never leave a message regarding anything. So I think this is a play off the real debt collector.

Not sure if the lady said CVCS or CVCS, but the number comes from East Rochester, NY, and I am from the Rochester area. Was getting missed calls every day from this number and happened to not be working today. Lady said she was trying to collect a debt from the local hospital for an outpatient procedure in August, 2015. The physician she named did not sound familiar to me. I protested getting daily calls yet nobody leaving a message and got the same response as others, that they can't leave a message with sensitive information. She supposedly marked down my response as a "dispute."
