They said I have a warrant and I needed to contact their attorney to resolve the matter before processing. It sounds like they are phishing people information. Be aware.... I deleted the VM sounded like a foreigner generic recording.

I received a call sayingI have a warrant for a bill. This is a scam. They did this before to me.  Do not pay them any money.

When I called them they said there was a warrant for my arrest for not repaying a loan. When I asked for details of the loan they hung up

They are lying scammers. You will not be arrested for failure to repay a payday loan. Sued maybe, if such loans are even legal in your state, but not arrested.

I received the same phone call today stating I owed money to some loan place as I started to ask questions the foreigner hung up on me I made several attempts to call them back and it just rings it's a scam he did tell me I was being recorded .

Got a call saying there was arrest warrant in Washington state for me and would be carried out by 11 am the next day unless I contacted them. It was a few days later that I listened to voice mail and guess what, no arrest.I live in Iowa. Never even been anywhere near Washington. I immediately googled the number.

408-707-3066 called and left this message:
"This is (?) Lee calling from HQ of Washington Collection Dept.
We have received a complaint on your name and social security and as a result a warrant has been issued which is scheduled to be processed by 11 o'clock tomorrow morning. According to legal prodecurals you canstill withdraw the warrant by contacting  the law form of Clifford & Peter, LLT. The contact person is Steven Mason and the contact # is [pause] 585-678-5081. Goodbye."

Why would Washington state be calling from California?

Why??  It is a SCAM.

You are not warned if a warrant is coming and you can not pay to have it go away!

I got a call from a number on my caller id showing a totally different number thant what the recording left on my voicemail. The number they called me from was 7403154294. Then again from 7403154296, and 7403154297. But the number they wanted me to call back was 5856785081. The message said it was Washington Correction Dept. due to an outstanding debt. And I would need to contact Clifford & Peters Lawfirm and talk to Steven Mason. They said I had till 11am tomorrow to resolve this. I realize I have some past due debt. And I have been trying to pay it off little by little. I am a senior citizen. and I am on a fixed low monthly income. I have had some serious health problems that have gotten me to this point. I just dont understand what is wrong with people! why do they need to scare others and try to take advantage of them. It's just so wrong.

I get a call and a recording stating that my name and soc. Sec. # was reported to doc . That I  have a warrant and it will be issued by 11 am. You need to contact Clifford and Peters and speak with Steven mason. I called it back and the phone just rang. A real law office will  have a vm or even an answer service. I have to figure out how to record them when I call  and submit  it to the attorney general.

I received the same phone call today at 3:08 pm stating the exact same voice mail as above. When I called back  no one answered.

scam do not send them any money. I called them back and they told me that the conversation was being recorded, I said good I am also recording this conversation..they immediately hung up. LOL

Recieved a call today from this POS foreign lady saying I had a warrant and needed to call back. I called back and a POS foreign man answered and asked if I would hold. I said no I wouldn't and asked if he was such a piece of **** that he has to try to scam people out of money......he hung up. I tried calling back 3 times and it rang busy every time. I guess I will keep trying tonight and tomorrow and the next day and the next day. If I would ever come face to face with these scam "artist", there WOULD be a warrant out for my arrest. 585-678-5081

I got a phone call from this number. It was a forigner with a generic speach. The didnt know my name or my ssn, which they said they had recived a complaint on. They said that they were from the Washington correction department and they had a warrant for my arrest. That I needed to contact them with my information and I have until the end of the day to do this. It turns out that this call came from New York state not Washington DC so it is fake. A pethedic scam. Please don't give these guys your information.

I got that same msgs on my phone and I did call the number back all I got was a ring and no one answer it.  I call the next day to see if anyone would answer all I got a was a recording that the person can not be reached.  It's a scam
Just wish there was a way to get these people in jail.

She said her name was Katherine Lee and she was calling from Headquarters of Washington Correction Dept and a arrest warrant will be served on my name and social on the next morning by 11 am and the contact person to discuss this with was a Steven Mason @ 585 678 5081 for there was time to resolve the matter...The call was received on 04/02/2012 @ 10:26am....I left a message with only the number they called and no other information was left...
