A Mr. Marcus ?"Pulp"? first said "Melissa" and when I said there was no one by that name, he said "no, Marrisa". Gave a number and said this was a "legal matter". He wasn't rude but I wish these collectors would stop calling since I filed for Chapter 7!!

not a real collector - scammers trying to get info.  said I had debts that I do not have and that I had to take care of this matter.

Trying to get me pay something I dont know bout saying the bank sent my information to them I need to pay norw or make payment arrangement

Saying i am in check system and I need to call. I am not in check system these people get on my nerves STOP CALLING ME. They say i have a Check i wrote for a pay day  loan. Uhhhh didn't do a pay day loan.

Called wanting to leave a message for both my brother and sister at the same time.  Saying fraudulent check activity against their SSNs.  Know it's a scam.  Brother doesn't have a checking account and has no trouble cashing payroll checks. Sister doesn't use checks either only debit card.  Either way, no legit agency would leave a message for two different people at once over two separate incidences.  Left contact name as Michael Murphy.

 Got two calls from this number 585-730-6938 over the past year ... talking about some other person that does not live here And talking about some type of legal actions against them in my local county court ... No idea what this company is about, or why i am getting calls from this number 585-730-6938.

Have  gotten three calls from this number states with check systems and gentleman says his name is Michael Murphy and works in the pre litagation department and I need to return call to avoid further action against me  scammer if I ever heard one . Not giving any info to this dirt bag

Yes, Michael Murphy called me too. He was so sweet and professional. He gave me the same information like you received and asked to pay. I told him he was a scammer and his attitude changed and abruptly hanged up the phone. Don't give him any information.

I recieved a call from this company as well and they said they was calling from the litagation department and said his name was Michael but gave another number to call back 565 730 6157 which is not the same number that is on the caller id and when the call was returned to ask for a Ms. Price.  The company on the caller id is chx system 526 I never heard of them before.

Your caller is from Check Systems. They are a bottom-feeding, fraudulent debt collection circus based in NY. They are as low as it goes in the fraudulent debt collection industry. Tell them that you are aware of your rights as a consumer under the FDCPA & that all your calls will now be logged & recorded. DEMAND a notice of validation be mailed to you. NOT via e-mail or fax. As per federal regulations under the FDCPA.

this  guy  ( Mike  Murphy)   and   called  for  the  4th  time  in  two  weeks  and  an  mrs  price  as  well, stating  about  taking  legal  action  in  regards  to  some internet  payday  loan  some  5  years  ago,  tried  to  get  banking information,  sounds  very  fishy  and  somewhat  rude  the both of  them. also  i  called check  systems  and  they  told  me  never  heard of  these  two  and did  not  work  for  check systems.was not  their  number.  come  on  people  get  a  real  job  and  leave  the  honest  folks  alone  who  are  making  an  honest  living.

I got a call today say I owe 500 and some to a bank.i have to4 to give them a credit card how did they get my number

Still getting calls at work from these same people.  My boss is ready to fire me.  

Got a call at work from the same guy.  Been trying to contact him all day with no results.  Getting really irritated by this cause i dont know why my name would be with them at all.
