Got a call today. Left no message. Caller ID says, "Breast Cancer"

Spammers and scammers have the technology to change the name and number that is displayed on your caller ID. The first place I always check a number is the site: http://whoisthisphone.com/ (Free Reverse Phone Number Lookup). They will tell you whether it is a legitimate phone number or not. If is says "invalid phone number", it means they have made up a number to show on your caller ID. This is NOT a legitimate phone number. BLOCK THEM or do not answer!!

Displayed as 'unavailable' and also as 1-1- before the above number. (However, the United States has 'one 1-' as a country code anyway ... -- this may have something to do with somebody else mentioning 'Germany' below).  Didn't answer it. They probably didn't leave message either...

Caller allegedly collecting money for breast cancer foundation. Phone provider is Neutral Tandem VOIP in Mount Clemen, MI.

This is a scam they are useing breast cancer to steal money . Please report this calls do not donate money to a fake site look up the real breast cancer places

Got a call from this number today, listed as Breast Cancer.  Was a robot call that responds to your questions, asked if she was a robot and she laughed robotlike and said, "Do I sound that bad?"  Why can't our government do anything about off of these scammers?

Received call from 1-1-586-221-6997.  Woman's voice asking for donations for a Breast Cancer foundation to pay for mammograms for women who couldn't afford them.  Because of the strange 1's in front of the phone number, I asked where she was located.  She said she was located in an office in Florida.  I asked if she was a recording or a real person.  She said she was a real person and asked me why I asked.  I said because she sounded "canned".  She said she was mailing me a contribution envelope and would I pledge to donate?  I told her my daughter had died from chemo and radiation treatments and that research shows that mammograms don't save lives and that I wouldn't be donating to that cause.  She said she understood completely, and said when they send the donation envelope, would I donate?  I hung up.

I received a call from this number today (12-3-15) at 1:44 PM.  When I answered it took a few seconds for the lady to respond to my "hello," and I thought it was just another recorded sales scam.  Then someone did answer and she said she was Lisa and I forgot her last name.  She then asked for me by name and I responded with "What is the purpose of this call?" and she didn't respond.  I hung up after about 6 or 7 seconds of silence.  The ID Caller states the location of that phone call was in Mount Clemens, MI.

Update:  I went to the website  http://whoisthisphone.com/  which was mentioned above but that site stated there wasn't such a number.

Due to Obama care mammograms are free to all women now.

Received call on my DNC cell this morning. I did not pick up and caller did not leave a message. Luckily, my new IPhone has call blocker application built-in. BLOCKED!

The person above who mentioned that site was "spamvertising" that site by putting the site into other websites' comment sections, thus "improving" its ranking and trying to get it to the front page of Google, Yahoo, and Bing search results. I've never seen it before in search engine results.
