Have blocked the ENTIRE 586 AREA CODE.
We have found that blocking entire area codes works best for us.  Note that we have had the same home number for over 20 years and we seem to be on every call list that there is!
Calls from this area code are BLOCKED FOREVER - Sweet!

All calls from the "321" area code are also blocked.  The calls are all identified as "consumer svcs."

Received a call at 12:12 today, no message left.

Called our DNC registered landline on 07/03/2014 @ 10:19 AM from Mt Clemens, MI. No message was left.

Appears to be a scam (phishing) looking to steal credit card information. Called me looking to discuss lowering my credit card interest rate...they are not my credit card holder. WARNING

Blocked by Call Control.  I block anything not in my area code, send the rest to Google Voice which sends them to the spam box if they think its a telemarketer.

Just got a call for 586-231-3657 and same old bull about lowering my credit card rate, scam to say the least.

The thick lipped b**** said "if you only use a debit card you are a damned fool" and disconnected the call

Lower your credit Dept.we ask them to take us off there calling list. But they keep on calling.

I received a call from this number. The initial message stated this is an urgent call and they needed to speak with me regarding my current credit card account. This was false and misleading because they had no information on my current credit card and were not calling regarding my current credit card. The woman I spoke with was extremely rude said I couldn't have my number removed, refused to give me her name when I asked and refused to allow me to speak with a manager.

These people are scam artists who are trying to take you credit card number.
PLEASE STOP THESE PEOPLE BY REPORTING THEM TO "THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION". This is not an FCC matter. I called the Trade Commission and was told the more people who complain the better.

New scam.  Wanting to talk about some kind of emergency alert system for old folks.  Catch phrase is "you might be eligible for a free system"  which I wasn't.  Fun wasting their time.  Just another scam to try to get your personal information.  

I get the same call almost every day, from different area codes from all over the country. Every time they call I ask to be put on the do not call list and they immediately hang up the phone. I just filed a complaint with the FTC for 586-231-3657 and will continue filing complaints with every phone # they call me on from this point foward!

Not sure where they found this low class voice over (love the way she can't pronounce 'button'), but a feeble attempt to use scare tactics ("...accident, fall or sudden cardiac arrest...") to push their "free" medical alert system..

Of course they ignore the Federal Do Not Call list, which certainly tells us something about their business ethics, doesn't it?

[At least they didn't say "...laying on the floor..." Gotta give them credit for this, lol.]

I also just received a call from this number. They left no message so after reading your posts I have been calling the number non stop for a few minutes. They just say if you want to be placed on a do not call list press one now. So I pressed anything but, and called a few times till they hung up. I have no idea if any thing helps but it made me feel better. To bad we cannot bombard them all at the same time but you know no one cares.  Thank you for this site and for letting me get it off my chest.

You really think the FTC can do anything? They can't. The scammers change their numbers quicker than you can shout thief. On top of that most of the time they use VoIP numbers which are untraceable.

Pressing anything just tells them there is a human being on the other end. Never ever press anything when a scammer calls. Cause get what, you will wind up getting more scam calls than you were before.

I have registered for do-not-call. Please stop calling. Next stop government but I doubt they will stop it. Seems the consumer is pretty helpless.
