this call was a response from another unknown call for an extended warranty for my Toyota vehicle. That number is 347-775-2744

This call was a response to another call stating my warranty had expired. They said they were calling on behalf of the manufacturer and when I asked them who the manufacturer was they quickly hung up on me.

Ditto to the other comments, especially S.H.'s comment, on that 2nd call I asked which vehicle they were referring to and then it went silent with a few clicks, then busy!!!!  That call was from Mount Clemen, MI.

The original call was automated about extending my warranty; that call was from Roselle, IL, 847-592-8824.

I believe it's fraud so proceed with caution!!!!!

The initial call said "This is the second notice that your warranty on your vehicle is running out but you can renew it now. It asked if we had any "Check Engine Lights" showing. Press 1 if the answer is no. I pressed 1. Then the automated voice continued, "Stay by your phone for a call within 5 minutes." So I did. In less than 5 minutes, I received the call with a live person on the other end asking what year, make and model our vehicle was. I told him, "We just bought it in 2009 and it's almost paid off." But don't you want to extend your warranty?"  I then told him that the earlier call said this was our second notice though we had not even had a first notice. He kept interrupting me. When I tried to tell him that my husband takes care of the vehicle things and I'm sure that he is on top of it. WHILE I was trying to tell him, he hung up on me. However, I had the wisdom to write down the phone number he was calling from BEFORE I answered it as our landline phone does not retain it. I tried to call him back and complain about the rudeness, but each time I dialed that number, it wasn't a "viable" number in that it would not go through. I was so frustrated. He needs to be reported. So I "Googled" the phone number and I found this site. So here is my complaint. I am angry to receive such an unsolicited and RUDE call. I hope this company and callers are stopped.
You have the complete report and I am happy to say that I don't have to watch my language because I only gave good language and I am truthful. How they got our home phone number, I don't know because the company we bought the car from and the insurance company does not even have our new home phone number.

I received a call from this number today demanding that I renew my warranty on one of my cars. When I asked if they were calling from the manufacturer of the vehicle, they wouldn't answer the question. I asked a few times and every time there was a different evasive answer.

Eventually the caller started verbally assaulting me on the grounds of the fact that I'm not a natural born U.S. citizen. He kept shouting at me to go back to where I come from and saying that I couldn't understand him because I'm "foreign".

I'm from the UK, I speak English as well as anyone on the planet, and that's without counting my PhD in English Literature.

In short, this is a number which appears to be associated to a scam organization conducting illegal activities (assaulting someone on the basis of race is illegal).

They Called me today with the same script many comments prior are saying. When they asked me for the make and model of my car I told them "You tell me, you're the one calling saying that the warranty on it has expired. They hung up. It was a man.

recd these calls on my cell phone. it's illegal for telemarketers to call cell phones. so, i hit 1 when prompted by recording (this is also illegal- not to have a live response when call is answered) so i could learn name of company. didn't. went to report numbers to fcc/ftc....can't. repubs shut down the government!

I just got a call from this place and my experience was the same as LInda Sneed above.  I thought it was a legitimate call because I've received a request for it before, and the message at the beginning said this would be the second and final request to renew my warranty.  Some things that were fishy about it were that they didn't know the make and model of my car, and when I asked for the number they hung up.  Additionally, when they tried to transfer me to a "specialist" the specialist said something like "I'm not going in for this [***] anymore quit calling me" then I was hung up on.  Then they called me back and I asked for the number, they didn't give me it and hung up.
