You can hear the telemarketers talking in the background.

Someone said "This is Amanda, is this a home phone number?" I was going to reply "No, this is a baked potato" but instead I just said "No, who may I say is calling" To which she said "This is Amanda from mumble-mumble and then hung up. I really wish I had used the baked potato line. The call clearly wasn't from Northern Alberta, so the number is being spoofed.

This Number is from Grade 8 Learning… why they called me I am not sure… I am even registered with the Canadian Do Not Call List….. they are clearly call outside of Canada even though they have a local 587 number…. Just a waste of my time

Rec'd this call from "Amanda" yesterday, her voice had a thick accent and she kept mumbling.  I asked point blank what the point of the call was and she said, she needed to talk to an adult, was my mommy or daddy there? (WTF?).  I told her I am adult and took offensive to that comment and said Goodbye! BLOCK!

I am getting this call also. I am retired and don't have time for these idiots. I think I am going to move to Chatham to get
away from these telemarketers. Rock on Tennnnnn

Telemarketer who ignores DNC list, call received 1545 hrs 15 Jan 15 now on my do not answer list.  

We got a call from this number on a Sunday afternoon in January - "Marvin" who can't speak very good English from "Grade 8 Learning". Couldn't understand most of what he said but said something about we are trying to improve education in Alberta blah blah blah.  His first (and only question prior to me hanging up)  "how many school children living in this residence and what their ages?"  Is it that easy for some idiot to get info on children? Sick.

. . .well. . . It's "Marvin who can't speak English well."

Got hit yesterday... sigh...

It might be this creepy collection agency that calls my number when I'm not home which is most of the time. This number may be a spoofed number to find out when I'm home. They phone at all times of the day and night. I'm just unfortunate enough to have gotten this number or maybe someone used it in a credit application. I'm expected to know who had this number and where they are now.

They called on weekday evenings around 8-9pm.
It's a spoofed number.
Canada can't do much about it.

I picked up the phone and said hello no reply. Then I heard a tone and a reply with goodbye

Received a call from them this morning, in Calgary.  I didn't answer.

I answered an it was dead air..I said hello about 3 times an they didn't answer..then finally hung ups. So strange!

Calgary, caller said  she was so and so, how was I, I replied that she was wasting my minutes and should get to the point quickly. She said she was calling to approve me for a car loan based on my credit score. Now, I know my credit score, so there is no chance anyone is going to voluntarily give me their money. Based on the previous comments regarding this number, it is obviously a scam of some sort.

"New Car Canada" helps you get a 0% loan for a new car. Sigh, such a waste of time these telemarketers are.

Got a call from this number, this morning on my cell phone, in Calgary.  I didn't answer.  I was also called on January 22, which I posted here as well.

I just got the call, but I didn't pick up. Also listed as Calgary.
