received a letter with Publishers Clearing House title stating I have won second prize of 2.5 million. Call right away this number to secure your prize.  The enclosed check is to cover the cost of lawyers.  Took the check to the bank and it was a fake.

I also received a letter from Publishers Clearing House stating I have won second prize of 2.5 million and to call to secure prize.  A check enclosed for $8,902.45 to cover cost of lawyers and insurance.  Also said by Federal law I was not to tell any third party to reduce risks of unauthorized access to my claims information.

Neighbor received letter from publisher's clearing house saying she had won 2nd prize and to deposit check of over $7000 and to call the secret code into the number 587 7190266 and they would tell her next step.  She is certain she won the money and won't listen to reason.  She wants to call the number and get her money.  She is in her 90's
