Apparently being on the DNC list means nothing to them

stop calling my phone number, I do not even have what you called about.  Then when I ask who is calling, you hang up on me.  What a coward, the nerve to call, no nerve to tell me who you are.

Calls my cell phone trying to sell auto warranty. I am on the do not call list and have multiple times asked to be removed from the list. Apparently they can't understand English!!

They've called several times I will not answer any more.  I too am on the do not call list, but obviously they cannot understand  English!

Called my phone asking for Mr. or Mrs Simms. Not even remotely close to my name. No idea what this is, but they've now made my do not answer list.

I.D. said "service call", didn't answer, left no message.  Added to call blocked numbers.

Caller ID said Madison, MS. They called wanting me to know that "they" have sent me 3 notices about factory warranty on my car. She said that it is about to expire, and this was my final opportunity to respond to their offer. Mind you, the caller never identified herself, so I don't know WHO "she/they" are. She then started asking me questions about the mileage on my car.  I told her I didn't know the mileage off hand. That annoyed her. She became rude. I told her that this was not a good time for me to speak with her because I was at work, and she made an "I'm annoyed. Whatever." huff and hung up on me. I can't stand when a company chooses to business this way. Unidentified. Telemarketer. Rude. <- I won't answer this number again.

They've called me at least 4 times, no message left, who in the world is this?  I live in New Mexico, the calls are from the state of Mississippi.

Received a call from 601-427-9429 today.  ID says Service Call.  A man said something about a Toyota (I have never owned one) and he said "Am I speaking to Edward?"  I am a female and don't think I sounded like an "Edward."  I hung up.

I jsut received a call from this number. He said his name was Luke and he was calling in reference to [my car make and year] and asked if he was speaking to [My Name]. I replied, "Who are you? How did you get this number? And what do you want?" Luke hung up.

I answered a call from this number this morning (against my better judgment, but since the call was from my area code I answered). The female caller said this was a "courtesy call" (I guess that is the new phrase for unsolicited annoying telemarketing calls) regarding the factory warranty expiring on my vehicle, and she wanted to know the mileage. I told her I was not interested and to remove me from her list. I then hung up.

I wonder if these callers are getting their "prospects" from automobile dealerships records, from the local/county offices that issue car tags/vehicle registrations, or from the lenders that handle the financing?
