Michael - 10 Jan 2008They've been calling constantly. Always hang up when you answer. Managed to get a live person once and asked to stop calling. Next day they called again.

argh! - 28 Mar 2008I am so tired of these idiots calling everyday. They used to just hang up when I answered, not it seems that they will ring the phone once or twice, then hang up before I can even get the chance to answer and rip them a new one. I contacted Qwest (the landline service provider) and they were no help whatsoever.
I can only encourage each and every one of you to report them to the Do Not Call Registry so we can stop the madness!

April - 15 Jan 2008Wow... I am sorry to hear others, have had the same experiences as myself. I had a conversation, with the vaguely stated person that called from that #. I explain to him, I found his company offensive and he called me ridiculous. He then went on to ask personal questions and I simply stated, again to him I was not interested, hopefully he won't call back.

Exitor Jameson - 15 Aug 2008The service is run by a group of pro-homosexuals! They are trying to find funding for their gay parade in San Francisco. They call and call until you make a donation. The reason they hang-up is because they are mostly still in the closet and the company Rainbow, Inc. makes them state their true name.

BOOTSKUNI - 24 Jan 2008Ive had several calls from 602-248-4930 and have not spoken to an individual yet. I'm not sur how I got on this call list but it is annoying. I am also recieving annonymous calls from a 970 number from Colorado. Pretty weird stuff, I think it may be related to a marketing link that I clicked off of myspace. Really annoying!!!!!!

Grace - 6 Feb 2008A woman called from this number and said she was with "Bank Card Visa" and that I had previously contacted them about a home based business. This is how it went...
Her: "Hi, I'm (I think she said Karen). I'm with Bank Card Visa. You had inquired with us about a home based business. "Now Grace honey, are you still interested in a home based business?"
Me: "Wait, you are calling from my credit card company?"
Her: "Yes Honey, you inquired about a home based business?
Me: "Yes, but are you my credit card company? I don't understand why YOU are calling me?"
Her: "No, they informed us that you were inquiring about a home based business. Now honey, are you still interested in a home based business?"
Me: "Wait, who are you with again? I'm confused."
Her: "Well...(now she sounds flustered and frustrated)...nevermind!"
and HUNG UP!
That's when I did an online search for the number to find out who they are. The fact that she tried to trick me into thinking she was my credit card company - is FRAUD!
When I look at other blogs for this number - it says it's CashFlow Direct, which is a company I looked into some time ago, but after reviewing endless blogs from consumers bad mouthing them. I was disinterested.
If it is CashFlow Direct - my next report after this one, is to the Better Business Bureau.
Beware, there tactics are unethical.

Dale - 12 Feb 2008The smartalecs called me about an hour ago, asked for my wife by her first name, very odd, and it was a dude acting all chipper.But I could hear telemarketer type talk in the background... I said she wasn't here could I help him and he hung up on me!!! So I Googled them and found this forum (Thank the Lord for Google!!!)

TRM - 7 Sep 2008I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I LOVE Google! That's how I found this site. I can't wait to get another call (I've not been answering because I didn't recognize the number). I will listen to the entire schpeel (sp?), wait for them to ask for some real info. (like credit card, address, etc.) and then let them have it! I know you're telling me to "get a life" but I need to do this...so I CAN get back to living!

v - 15 Feb 2008They called my number asking for my father and said he sent them an email looking for car insurance. I informed them that I knew for a fact they did not recieve an email. The caller said they had his phone number, address and email. I firmly said that he was lying and did not revceive an email. He then hung up. The day before they called looking for my mother. I said I was her and the caller started yelling at me about my use of medicaid and being a senior. I just hung up. Both days it was the same number. My parents have a totally different phone number. Where do you go from here?
