I just got a call from this number (2007-05-31 @ 7:15 local time). There was no one on the other end.

I did a reverse phone look-up (as some of you did). I "Googled" the number which led me here.

I just got a call (5/31/07 8:05pm) asking for us by name as Mr or Mrs. xxx. When I asked who was calling he said the Police Athletic League.  I asked him to put my number on his Do Not Call list and said ok. He wasn't rude and said ok.

Just got a call -- same number -- answered and they hung up.  When I tried to call back to see who it was, the operator said the line was busy.

Answer call, but no voice on the line, then disconnect.

The calls from this number (602) 254-2994 continue to come later at night each week. Here is a little investigative information that should help any one willing to look into this matter a little further. 254 is an old prefix from  the pre-cell days it's a land line in the 85013 zip code. I believe the location is on North 3rd. avenue between Van Buren and Polk on the west side of the street. If any one drives by there on their to work a phone solicitaion call center should be easy to spot. Please keep in mind this is what we pay our Attorney General for so please refrain from charging the building on your own. People are so desperate for sucker money you may run into some real trouble!

I just got a call from this number asking for me by name.  I, of course, told them "she's not here" since I didn't recognize the number. When I asked if I could take a message and phone number so "she" (I) could call them back, the lady said "we don't have a call back number, I'll just try later".  Very strange.  At first I thought it may be some bill collector from days gone by, but looking here makes me think it's more of a group of scam artists.

They are violating the National Do Not Call Registry.

Someone called my home asking for a Iliana or Liliana Garcia, but now one with that last name lives there  my name is Liliana Encinas and when my husband told them yesterday that no Liliana Garcia lived there they asked our for our address and well he didnt tell them because we didnt know who it was and what they wanted it for. we just got this number because on our old number he had people call and hang up all the time so the company changed it to this number, and well and now this

My turn.  This guy calls for a couple of weeks know.  Sometimes they say nothing.  Last time he asked me how I was doing by name.  I tried to call back a couple of times.  Mostly I got a busy signal, one time I got a full mail box stating the line was from Arizona Pal.

We received a phone call from 602-254-2994 and when we answered the phone no one would respond.  We tried to call back and received recording stating Arizona Pal and a message stating the mail box is full.  Our number is on a do not call list and I believe we have a call center attempting to circumvent the "Do not call" lists.

Called twice today.  At 2:50 PM and 8:05 PM. Both times the phone only rang once before it was answered.  No one on the line.  Tried calling back both times and got a busy signal.

Calls and when I answer, they hang up, my husband stated that they have been calling every night two or three times

I looked it up with the B.B.B.  They are evaluating the company.

This morning the call came through as PHX 1-602-254-299. I never pickup unless I know who is calling. So waited to see if the left a message. They did not. So went into yahoo and did a reverse number look up. Then from there led me here. I am glad. This a great site.

Called every single day at least twice but no one was there.  They called twice on Sunday morning July 1, 2007.  The second time, there was someone there from some "police" thing.  Is it legal to call on Sundays?  The first time was pretty early.
