- EThey've called me several times, no one is there when I answer or they hang up. If I don't answer when they call they don't leave a voice mail. When I call back it's an automated system. One time I got ahold of a real person and asked what the company is, and she said they have several companies. She asked for my phone number to look it up and I said I wouldn't give her my number, that I just needed the name of the company. She then refused to name the companies and hung up on me.
- BrianAutomated service asking for my wife so when I got a hold of someone she said the debt was actually mine for an outstanding pay day loan ( Which I never took out ) When I told her she can contact my lawyer she rudely said "oh you have a lawyer ? " she said oh I can't wait to meet you in person in court and hung up on me.

- Shar| 1 replyCollection company for old payday loan balances. Using a local number in order to be deceptive. I believe their name is National Credit Adjusters our of Kansas. They are not supposed to spam you with a local number since they don't operate in Arizona.

- FRUSTRATED| 2 repliesThey have been calling me since Oct. 2013 and i spoke to them a couple times and they said i was being sued for writing bad checks. (which i havent) and nothing of the sort is even on my credit reports. They stopped calling for about 4 weeks, then This # calls me literally every single day and asks for me by my maiden name. I haven't had my maiden name for over 7 years. So I tell them they have the wrong #. Then they kept calling, then they called again and just asked for me by my first name, I hadn't paid attention to the # so I said that it was me and they said hi Ms. xxxxx can you please verify your DOB of xx/xx/xxxx and I just hung up. That was about a week ago and they have called every single day since then.
It is extremely frustrating. The first time I answered back in 2013 they asked me to verify my SS# and DOB and also to give them a updated address because I was being summoned to court and they needed to send me court papers but refused to tell me the company that was sueing me. This seems to be harassing at this point. every single day and I don't know who to go to about it bc like another person said, they could be using a local # and they are illegal somewhere else.
AAAHHHH!!! it drives me crazy!- Caller: ???

See: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection - kedCalled me today, started out with a "please stay on the line..." automessage, which is sometimes all you get, I guess if they don't have a live scammer available to pick up right then.
One of those "I have some documents here... please verify your date of birth..." deals. *click*- Caller: Didn't say

- KyleTried selling me health insurance. Wouldn't give me the name of their company and said they'd call back in a week with quotes. Sounds very sketchy. I blocked their number on my phone so they won't bother me anymore.
- KevinI received a call from this number asking for me. Something told me to say you have the wrong number and the lady hung up. I tried to call the number back and an automated message came on without the name of the company. I listened for a few minutes and the message stated that if you have been issued a summons due to a lawsuit to put in a number and they would connect me to a live person. I am glad that I felt really funny about this call.
- Jacque [***]They asked for someone who I don't know.
- A in Arizona replies to SharThey called me today from a local Arizona number. The girl was rather rude and insistent that I must agree to settle and I am at fault for this loan. I asked what the loan amount was and how much had already been paid and she couldn't provide me with the amount that had been paid to them already. I stated that I needed that information before I could or would talk about this anymore with her (due to the fact that I have been a victim of identity( theft). I find it rather hard to believe that they do not have the numbers at hand if they are truly legitimate. I understand they are illegal in the state of AZ and when I started spewing that information she became even more rude and put her manager on the phone. Again, I got know where with her and now wonder what I can do to obtain this information. When I asked what state she was located in, she said same as you...Arizona. I'm going to call BS on that.
